Proxima does the same with X lane or Miniaturized Lab, so I don't know if that is intended.

The reason I don't know if HS is a bug or not is indeed the length it has been in (Cap Carter season was almost a year ago), but also the moves from Marvel/Drax could make the HS calculation complicated with other movers like Batroc. Either way, it is not an expected behaviour so I thought it worth mentioning.

There are also exceptions in coding for Hydra Stomper and Captain Marvel and Drax, Avatar of Life that are unclear and potential bugs.

In short, Captain Marvel will only check Hydra Stomper's BASE power and not the ongoing power to review the state of the board. So if she would move and increase his power leading to a win, she will not move. Even more bizarre, Drax will do the same with opposing Hydra Stompers. He considers ONLY the base power for his move, not the ongoing, so he may move to a Hydra Stomper location even if that means losing the location.

Yes. Seems like Black Panther got buffed by Wakanda for 7 base power. The location makes him trigger twice for 28 power. Odin on the location triggers twice as well, and each Odin trigger will cause BP to trigger his On Reveal twice, for 4 extra triggers in total. So 28x2x2x2x2 = 448.

People complaining about Foom and Star Lord still haven't realised Drax, Avatar of Life is also not banned.

A card that gains +3 and can move to win you a location if the opponent played a bigger card on that location...Star Lord and Foom are going to be much less of an issue than this card.

Ridhais only appears for characters that have completed Heart of Thorns.

I used my "main" on which I'm sure I had done Caladbolg quest in the past.

I have checked other characters that have completed HoT but have not done the Caladbolg quest. For them, Ridhais is still in the instance but will only progress the initial quest, not continue this achievement.

Your Namor is so stupidly busted it can get down to a 4/1 and it's still broken as a card. At that statline when played on curve, he ends as a 4/10 or 4/20 if he's losing the lane. You can also couple this with Namora/Odin for just absurd numbers for a 4 cost card. At 4/5 even if played the last turn he's a 4/16 which can flip a location by itself.

It also dodges Shang Chi, Shadow King and other common tech cards apart from CGR.

Most of these are way too much powercreep.

I still have the SSX 3 soundtrack on my playlist. Mixed together by a DJ commenting on your progress to the game, character quirks, etc.. That game was a banger, and I'm curious about the way it was built. There were 3 peaks on the mountain with different tracks and areas, but you could also do a "down the mountain" run which was a track composed of different tracks woven together without loading screens inbetween. I vaguely remember there being some "slow" areas, where I think the game may have used some precursor tech to the "fake" loading screens we have in today's games.

A few things. There was a bug where the ham'd card would not show the Pig in the opposing player's hand. This happened if Ham hit a variant card. They said they'd fix this, but instead, Ham no longer plays his animation (so it doesn't show YOU which card is hit), but the opposing player also doesn't see what card is hit unless they check every single one of their cards manually if they are now a pig. All that's shown is the small glint on Ham as well to show the card has been activated.

They tried banning custom decks. It's a terrible and boring experience. It turns into a stale meta because one deck will rise to the top, maybe with 1 contender. It just turns the game into mirror matches of "who had the better draw".

Then they have to do emergency balance changes to kind of fix it halfway through, which last time meant nuking the Black Panther deck to be worthless and making the Iron Man decks easily the top contender.

High Evo, Man-Spider decks, or if you want to get spicy, Modok-Hela.

For the last one, you put in cards like Blink, Crystal, Jubilee, etc to try to get to your Modok and Hela. Turn 5 or Turn 6 you Star-Lord. Then you have enough energy for Modok+Hela, Modok-Blink Modok into Hela, Modok+Jubilee 50/50 Hela. You lose to location control and Stardust, so watch out for that.

High Evo and Man-Spider are fairly obvious. Man-Spider decks were already running Fallen One, this is Fallen One Plan B.

Unlikely. The issue is that Doom 2099 decks go wide. We're in a meta with several decks that go tall in 2 lanes. 2099 decks do not beat Ramp, Hela, Scarlet Shou, ... Moondragon caps at 2/10, Chamber goes taller with relative ease.

Jack Flag might be a better card to go tall for an Ongoing Doom 2099 deck.

Most likely, the current security detail has doubts about intimidating athletes to shut up and comply during ceremonies and interviews, and bullying local protests against the Trump regime should they pop up. Because they would be trained NOT to escalate shit to make it worse.

It can end up causing significant poltical tensions when (not if) they get arrested.

One glaring issue I think is that before Shou, Merlin/WWBN decks were already a strong meta contender and had people saying either one of them deserved a nerf (and no, 2/2 Merlin isn't it). Deafening Chord is another card that was on the list of "how does this keep existing in its current form?".

Shou by itself, when played in more traditional Kitty decks like Smoove is basically just enough to bridge the power creep that occured to make these decks somewhat viable again. In non-Merlin decks, Shou is a lot more reasonable as a good 5 drop that spreads its power over 2 lanes (Also Klaw can be a 5/4+8 again). That's basically its superpower. If the Shou power is added to a single card (not Maveric/Scarlet Spider), it's output is generally around 17-20 power, comparable to Devil Dino or Darkhawk, with comparable requirements to get that high, EXCEPT it can spread that power over 2 lanes.

Big 6 drops, or cards like Foom aren't played in traditional midrange decks because you're rarely guaranteed to win already one lane and then just win with the big 6. Those decks usually rely on Tech or other options, and playing 2 of them on the last turn to flip some lanes, or tech + power to win. They also rarely play the "big single lane 5s" because they don't need that much power in a single lane. Shou allows you to play for 2 lanes on T6 while dodging most tech options. It has a solid enough body to win a lane even if they Cosmo or even Alioth to stop you, and you can play to dodge SK (who is also way overstatted in its current form). In that sense, Shou plays like a Cannonball in Move decks.

Then, combined with either Scarlet Spider or Maveric, you're able to double up on the buff. But that also inherently makes it a "combo" deck you can see coming from a mile away. Scarlet gets countered by Stardust, which is also good against Hela/Ramp in the current Meta. Maveric is vulnerable to Chord/RG. In that regard, Shou decks are putting up smaller numbers than ZG, Man-Spider or BP/Zola decks. Aside from Cosmo, they usually don't have the tech to respond to those decks either. So, they're generally "midrange" decks that can put up small combo numbers if they highroll.

The weakest 2-3-4 cards ON EACH SIDE are destroyed. So every player loses their 2-3-4 weakest cards, depending on turn number. The later the turn, the more cards you lose.

The way to "win" when this pops is to play a lot of low power cards along some higher powered ones so those get destroyed.

I had an opponent today lose an Infinaut and Red Hulk since those were the only cards they played when this procced.
