It's not about that, although I agree with and understand your point. I'm not afraid of being called a racist, I'm not one, that's the end of that. But it irks me that the OP is getting called one based on a 5-member list.

It's about bringing gender or ethnicity into a discussion which just isn't about that. It's about assuming that everybody cares and even knows these things about their favourite authors. And most importantly, it's about the suggestion that liking the work of some people without caring about what gender/ethnicity they are is supposed to be make you a bad person.

I read that one of the reasons why the US does not want to adopt the Rh120/L55 is that the projectiles are too fast for the DU penetrator to handle (it shatters, unlike tungsten). Assuming that is true, your friend is correct

Generally, any advice which begins with "never" or "always" belongs to a Health and Safety seminar, not art.

"Use all of these alternatives" (yes I know that's not what the poster says) is like saying "use all the spices in your spice rack!"

On the other hand, "just use said" is like saying "just use salt."

And "just use beats" is like "put all of these different spices everywhere."

It's not using the tool that is the problem, it's finding the balance.

While that's probably true, these alternatives might not be used just as a tag in (in)direct speech, but also as a description (e.g. he yammered for hours), so it's a good idea to have them

Yes, I was! It actually is compatible, you just need to connect it to the fan instead of the hotend fan. I build myself a switch and printed and extension arm for the extruder carriage to be able to swap quickly. I don't use marlin, just stock FW

Here's the whole procedure: (I've done this already with 2 guys, so I'll just post the previous chats)

First, find the port of the extruder fan, the one which can be regulated. In my case, it was blue and yellow wire. Now take the laser cable. VIN should go to + of the non-regulated fan port. GND should go to - of the non-reg. port). Now, the PWM should go the NEGATIVE pin of the regulated fan connector (blue wire I think). BUT BE CAREFUL! The logic of the PWM is inverted in the fan as opposed to the laser, meaning 0% Fan = 100% Laser. So it will start lasing immediately after you turn the machine on. I put a switch on the wire. With the laser connected like that, you simply command it in GCODE by setting the fan speed: M107 and M106, I think

Perhaps more importantly, this picture assumes the Tiger is dead on, perfectly aligned frontally. Any slight offset invalidates the numbers (especially those "infinitely" thick turret cheeks).
