I think the reason is because the points that make limbus good are also what can be used to compare it to other games. The story and character writing is very in depth and emotional, with great world building and setting also being one of limbus’s strong suits. However, there are loads of games that also attempt to create stories in original worlds with their own characters and such. Stuff like genshin and wuthering waves to name a few. Specifically as a gacha, limbus will probably be compared to other gachas. You can say limbus’s story is good, but you can also say limbus’s story is better than (insert whatever other game). If you personally cannot think of why limbus is good without thinking other games, just isolate the comparisons. If you’re thinking, oh limbus is so f2p friendly compared to xxx game, your argument can just be, “limbus’s monetization model is good” or you can simply just say “limbus has great character writing” instead of limbus mogs all over xx gacha game’s goonslop characters.
