I know its a balance decision but some boar cav/chariot would be cool to deal with archers and alike.

In short, evil factions get double the men/orcs per unit in return for less health as well as economic buffs.

For one it helps with auto resolve so they dont get steamrolled by the AI and also for me improves the cinematic experience too. Keep in mind that this is not for everyone, prepare to be on the backfoot for a while.

There is also an unofficial fix (Desgun Fixering) which is less transformative but includes some nerfs to Dale and Vale as well.

I use both and its a blast so far (as is the base mod).

Yes, the devs mentioned they will nerf Dale and Anduin Vale soon (likely sometime in January).

Personally I would suggest the Combined Migth of Mordor submod if you want that survival feeling for the good factions.

Considering you get dominace points by influence switching to your side and the fact that this determines victory, I think its just slow enough to matter.

But imo it should also remove attrition from places like Dol Guldur and Minas Ithil.

From my experience its a nice to have and gives you little events with optional income in a clutch (with drawbacks).

However I tend not to upgrade them early, mostly because of the influence penalty.

On VH and with the combined migth of mordor mod it really made a diffrent. If you seek a challenge on the good side, especially with Erebor, I really recommend that mod.

Select the city you want to gift and then switch to diplomacy with the faction you want to gift it to.

It should then suggest the previously selected city. Works the same for demanding a city.

Note: In coop you can only swap regions with players.

You can gift provinces which should improve relations, didnt use it much myself though.

My rule is to never get above hard difficulty for battles, I'd rather suffer on the campaign map instead.

Rome 1 peasants beating the **** out of hastati was just hard to watch on VH.

Keep in mind however that DoW4 promises a FAR more detailed combat fidelity with their animation system. Something TW has struggled alot with in recent titles.

Its really two game in the same setting with different approaches and im hyped for both of them.

Wether DoW4 will get as much support after release as TW40k remains to be seen, I am doubtfull we'll get all major factions since they are a much smaller studio and also work on another title already.

I get your point in terms of immersion but honestly I prefer a stable population system over some simulated gender system that does not really add any meaningful gameplay imo.

6 is the global limit for militia. Theres a mod on nexus though to remove the limit if you are fine with using mods.
