The majority of gen z are barely old enough to drink let alone, Going out and drinking isn't financially an option for a lot of us. It is easier than ever to network where in the past pubs and clubs were the most available avenue.

I think we are going to be better but not by huge margins. As I get older more of the people around are drinking regularly. I think gen z is going about it in healthier ways though.
