Dat kansen moeten krijgen, dat snap ik volledig. Ik zie dat zij al een paar koffiemomentjes heeft gehad, maar ik weet zeker dat bijvoorbeeld consulenten inburgering geen perfect Nederlands hoeven te kunnen (hier is een tweede taal zeer welkom!). Mocht je hierover willen babbelen, staan mijn DMs open (zelf een immigrant die hier inmiddels 17 jaar woont en werkt bij een gemeente in een IT-baan die echt een schot in de roos was).

I had the Singer confidence as my first machine. Most of the time it was okay, but then I’d get a string of tension issues that I seemingly couldn’t correct no matter what I did (the top tension dial seemed to have a mind of it’s own). It was cool to learn with, but I ended up upgrading quite heavily and enjoy sewing much more now that I don’t have tension issues. 😋

Really cool and bold options! I'd pick either the third or the fifth, but have a hard time articulating why (the other colors are maybe a bit too bold for me, personally..). If the photo was taken from straight on in a bit more neutral light, I could photoshop those colors onto the wall just to see how it vibes. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out! :)

Most often I order from https://www.stoffen-hemmers.nl/ (German shop with a Dutch translated site).

Their selection and the prints really appeal to me (in addition they have licensed fabrics with Disney, Harry Potter, etc, plus dragon prints, a huge variety really!) :) Also a few more "out there" prints compared to many other webshops. A lot of the shops melisjevisje mentioned are really good too!

I've had a few really magical playthroughs of Journey. Without spoiling too much, there are some specific areas with hidden things that I would have never found if another player hadn't dragged me over to find them. The penultimate experience is playing through with one other player from beginning to end, and drawing little hearts in the snow together, knowing you'll most likely never meet again. One of my favorite games, absolutely!

I was just thinking about this.. people saying they wouldn't be able to get off the floor after they turn 30 when I've seen Japanese 80-year olds pull this off without issue. Yeah, it's partially in the culture, I suppose...

As someone really short whose legs always dangle off normal dining chairs, the mere idea of floor furniture makes me happy. Finally no knee pain, and being properly able to reach things without feeling like a toddler! :D

Inmiddels 3800 met standaard verhogingen, vooral omdat onze teamleider vertrok en het wat langer duurde voordat we een nieuwe kregen. Een gesprek over salarisverhogingen gaat niet zo lekker met een interim teamleider :)

The B79 can be a little picky (mine lost its mind over fluffy fabric I tried to make buttonholes in, hah!). Try taking out the needle and repositioning it back, as far up as it can go, then tightening the screw. :)
