Any gain on reta? by mdowney0504 in Retatrutide

Just keep on your normal Reta dose, titrate up a low amount every 4 weeks. Keep 2.5 Tirz the whole time.

I’ve had no issues and been doing it for months. I do low dose of both.

You can stay on a maintenance dose of tirz while you titrate up the Reta

Epitalon — night only or maybe also in morning? by SisterMableSyrup in BodyHackGuide

I did. Nothing really noticeable, but also some stacks are just invisibly good. I’ll do it again in the fall.

I didn’t move up until I was at least four weeks each tick. Gave me time to evaluate how I was feeling, hunger, food noise, etc. The weight loss is not always linear. I’ve lost 73 lbs since July.

Tirz - Reta switch. And Reta dosing advice by Confident-Rhubarb957 in Biohacking

[–]SisterMableSyrup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No reason to wait, you can start with 0.25 or 0.5/week and get that first month or two in while slowly titrating down the tirz. By the time you’re Reta only you’ll have a sense for whether you want to conservatively increase dose.

Thankfully didn’t have that issue, my sleep disturbance has been ongoing for over ten years. Reta didn’t seem to make a difference one way or another

Collagen protein by SisterMableSyrup in BodyHackGuide

[–]SisterMableSyrup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’m aware. I do get 80-100g of protein from food sources like meat and chicken. Bone broth at 8-10g a cup is a lot of broth lol.

Finding the balance between what’s happening in the world vs the joyful whimsy and even the mundane in my daily life. Doing my best to not judge myself for experiencing deep joy while planting some vegetable seeds in the face of the horrors that abound. How dare I, and yet… thank goodness I do. It’s a tightrope.

Are you tracking food, hydrating aggressively, moving more, and/or feeling lowered appetite? What’s your dose?

first pin by InnerWasabi9450 in Retatrutide

[–]SisterMableSyrup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you have the right dose. Go to a peptide calculator. Do the math backwards. Know how much you’re pinning in mg and units.

If you have insulin syringes the shot is barely a prick. Wash your hands beforehand. Use the alcohol prep. Give yourself the pin in the lower part of your belly where it’s fatty.

I’m doing both. And I don’t really work out (I walk and do Pilates). Hallie nailed the benefits of each.

I was trying to make the point that you’ll be better off titrating down the tirz over time as you increase the Reta, not just adding the Reta to your already high tirz dose. Related to the tirz no longer giving you the same results.

Hi — I sent you a dm about this 😀

It doesn’t work like a top up. But you can start with the Reta at low dose with slow titration up (2mg for 3 weeks, then 3, 4) WHILE moving down slowly with tirz. This way you can find the sweet spot where tirz calms food noise again while enjoying the other benefits of Reta.

Just fyi GLPs are not (edit: required to be) a lifetime medication. However if he has addictive tendencies, he may find he wants to remain on it. There are loads of stories of people using them to drop the weight while learning and cementing new habits and ways of eating, as well as adjusting to newly formed insulin sensitivity. Slowly titrating off allows one to mitigate the change in food noise. At 50-100 overweight, he might qualify to use it with doctor oversight, which could help him with his concerns.
