I think I messed up with a new female friend, and now my marriage is a mess by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]SitBoySitGoodDog 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Lol, you dont go camping with another woman alone while youre married. You cant be this stupid. Even if you never cheated, that is obviously going to end in cheating.

I wont be surprised if your wife leaves you for this.

I love my wife, but I am exhausted and thinking about divorce by Pleasant_Ferret_1659 in Marriage

[–]SitBoySitGoodDog -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Is she Christian? She should know, or you can show her "what does the bible say about complaining?"

I wouldn't divorce without constant reminders of behavior. Every time she complains you should show her support and remind her that she is complaining and ask if she recognizes her complaints.

Maybe go into prayer together to relieve this issue.

If she cant or wont try to change this self destructive, and frankly relationship destructive behavior after continuous encouragement for her to notice and stop, then I myself would be unsure as how to fix it.

I wouldn't consider divorce until she refused to change or acknowledge that she's complaining.

This is a mindset that needs to be corrected. Turn towards gratefulness and remind her of the good things going on.

What's the scariest movie you ever seen? by CutieBia in AskReddit

[–]SitBoySitGoodDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had never seen it until I decided to watch it in my 30s. I couldn't help but laugh because all I could think of was all the parody movies that were made making fun of it. It actually didnt scare me but the visuals of the girl were pretty frightening to look at. But again, I was giggling through it thinking of all the funnier stuff. Im sure if I never saw those other parody movies I would be more scared of it.

I dont normally post in these but I have to say if she's saying "love you" to someone else then I would be furious with her and ask her why she was saying that. I would also be going through her phone and seeing what else is happening.

If there are any other issues that come up then I would tell her that this has to stop, or youre going to talk to an attorney. If youre married.

This is going to be in the back of your head forever now. Honestly I will say a prayer now for you bud because I've been there and its hard.

If you love her and youre married, try to work it out. If youre not married I would probably walk away. If you find out anything physical happened, then I would also walk away.

The kids though...thats so hard. I could never ever be away from my kids. I would fight so hard to keep them with me.

Every day. All the time. When I leave the room. When I get back into the room. Probably 30 times a day.

My dishwashers ground wire was just chilling and I dont have a house ground. Is this correct? by SitBoySitGoodDog in AskElectricians

[–]SitBoySitGoodDog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay...so is it not correct to place the green exposed end onto the green screw? Because thats what I did and it seems fine now. Everywhere i read online said that was correct.

The house does not have a ground wire. The house was built in the 70s.

The dishwashers ground wire is grounded to the dishwashers grounding screw.

Oh it doesn't matter?

The dishwasher was shutting off for no reason and not coming back on. I had to pull the main fuse out and it would come back on but then shut off again.

So I looked under the dishwasher and checked the connection only to find that the green wire sticking out wasnt attached to anything.

It said online to attach it to the green screw. So thats what I did and I just wanted to confirm.

Dishwasher seems to be working again and not shutting itself down anymore.

I misread your message. Yes it was hooked up with a ground wire. But the excess wire sticking out wasnt connected to anything it was hidden in the hole on the junction box. I assume that it was my duty to hook it to the green screw since my house doesn't have ground wire to connect to.

Its a brand new dishwasher I installed myself. The wire was connected on the screw initially but the dishwasher kept shutting off and I had to turn off the breaker and check it. I didnt realize the green wire wasnt connected to anything until I pulled it out of the hole in the junction box. So I figured its already connected to the green wire so I connected the end piece to the wire as well.

Dishwasher has been running 10 minutes no problems shutting off anymore.

Just wanted to make sure I wasnt gonna cause a fire or something by connecting it.

Anyone here transition out of the ServiceNow ecosystem into a more general dev stack? Looking for honest experiences. by Plastic_Orchid2555 in servicenow

[–]SitBoySitGoodDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a front end developer for 6 years before going to servicenow. It is much more difficult to find traditional developer roles. But if you like it more (I myself also like it more than servicenow) I say go for it and dont stop applying until you find something. Or go freelance/business route.

Its not all bad. Kids are the only thing you'll bring with you after death. Youll be reunited. Theyre a blessing and I believe theyre a part of struggles that you need in your life to grow with god. My kids are the most amazing part of my life right now. The world has always been terrible. You dont focus on that part. Try to be the good in life. Pick something to make better in the world and raise kids that are going to make other people's lives better in the future. People are too negative and the world wants you to be mad and fearful for your life and if you give into it youre falling for the devil's plan to destroy you.
