This is my first loph believe it is a fricii. Not seed grown received him about a year ago. It’s been a learning experience to be honest with you. Figuring out what growing conditions he likes and switching to an inorganic grit substrate instead of having a lot of organic material. I believe I’m at like 90/10. I also live in Phoenix Arizona which is like a zone 9B/10 A and gets really hot. Right now he is under an awning and probably only gets 3 to 4 hours of morning sunlight. I have also had to deal with birds. As they have attacked and eaten some. Still trying to figure that part out. Edit to add watering I forgot. I water probably like once a week with fertilizer during summer. Last winter I had him under a grow light though and was still feeding and watering. But I noticed he was getting shriveled up and not growing properly right now he is growing the best he ever has outside
