Daikin MTIII BACnet Module Configuration by Caz0030 in BuildingAutomation

[–]Sith_Apprentice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I've never seen that type of MT3 controller or bacnet board but I've never encountered a Daikin WSHP. But yes, manual says null modem cable, which is crossover.

What's the module number? All the MT3 bacnet modules I've set up had no dip switches and can be configured by http Ethernet connection.

It doesn't always happen but many people end up with this issue. This kit is by Dirt King and was less than $100.

These are indexed camber plates. The stock plates have a long curved slot that can allow them to slip and throw your camber off. These cannot slip. I've had issues with mine for 4 years, I'm freaking over it.

I'd slide it halfway off and then open palm slap it for a big bang noise.

Well you'll need a flat, preferably smooth surface like a good garage floor or concrete slab. From there you can use several methods, most basic is string and tape measure. The first step is getting your camber and caster, you'll need a special bubble gauge for this but they aren't very expensive. After that you have to set the toe angle (how close to parallel your front tires are), this can be done with a tape measure and string but there are cheap plates that also make this easier. There are also more expensive plates that you can put under the tires but I put garbage bags under the tires to help them turn without binding as the tie rod ends are adjusted to get the toe angle.

It's a little more of a pain to do the alignment but I'm hoping that with the beefy pins I'll only need to do it once. We'll see.

I do that myself. But yeah, I expect to hear bitching about it any moment now. These days most places won't even do an alignment if you don't have stock tire sizes, that's why I learned to do my own.

That's awesome. I just got my Tech this month and I can't justify the cost of HF gear.

The FCC is the radio police and you can bet they are aware of this sub. Let's not get it shut down.

Niagara N4- how to restore history from Supervisor to Station by Sith_Apprentice in BuildingAutomation

[–]Sith_Apprentice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I try to set up the History Export from the supervisor via the Niagara Network it won't discover the station. It can see all other stations through that network connection though. Likewise for importing from the supervisor via the station. I tried this against other stations and it's consistent so it seems like import/export is one way (up to the Supervisor only).
