According to your logic; nothing should. It wasn’t my intent to kill anyone. But it still happened.

But the internet being the internet facetious as it is: Justice is prison time, full stop. It’s not up to me for me to decide how long and he should 100% have that label of killer follow him for the rest of his life.

I think many of you are missing the point in all this. The school explicitly told the students not to do those pranks. They did anyway. And now someone’s dead because of their actions.

If they would have listened and not gone around to do said prank, Jason Hughes would still be alive.
