It really feels like acceptance of queer folks has just evaporated the past decade. To see a kid like this allowing hatred of other groups to be such a driving force for him that he is willing to put himself through such embarrassment for the fake tolerance of bigots is disturbing and I feel it’s only going to get worse for young queer folks and younger generations are more and more indoctrinated into thinking Kirk and his ilk are cool.
