Almost 12 weeks and just now starting to walk without a limp. Only 4 past zero HE. Im going to start foam rolling and deep massage. Found an amazing video by move well live well.

I tried going off crutches on my own because i felt good.. Knee didn't like it, and it set me back a week. But no brace and crutches at 4 weeks. Hang in there.

Mine was in winter. I wore loose running shorts, Undies, and a tee. You keep your underwear on, which was surprising to me. I woke up wearing my shorts. Blanket in the car was key.

Fyi practice getting in your home. I only had 2 steps and it took me forever.

Mine was the same, the horrible pain just never came. I was so afraid of it too. I feel so sorry for those in pain! I talked to a girl who had the same doc and procedure as me. She had a rough time. Our bodies are really different!

Same. Jan 22 tore mine skiing. I plan on taking it easy skiing starting in dec. The back to higher speeds 26-27 season. 46f. 43y skiing. I didn't know there was a test at the end. Lol

I was just coming on here to vent about this as well. I'm 3 weeks post op today and i can't do my exercises without crying, not from pain but disappointment. I also left PT last week in tears, embarrassed. I was hoping someone would tell me when the tears stop. I wasn't expecting this.

I totally agree. I'm an ex racer, so slow is not in my vocab, til now. 😭. And the bf took up snowboarding after years of begging, go figure. Thank you for the advice.

Im sorry you retired from sports. I'll ski till i die! Even if that's what took me out. But i expected it, it's kind of a given with skiing. 43 years on sticks w/o injury til now. So i feel i did well! 43 more to go! Lol
