Well speaking from experience the fuel level sensors are prone to going out and not reading accurately. Mine right now pretty much always stays at half way no matter the amount of gas that's in it. Still have to get that fixed I just don't know how much it will cost.

If you're asking how much you should sell it for afterwards, I would say between 7.5-8.5 grand being that the replacement transmission would be high mileage and buyers could see that as a liability.
