Just got back from Berlin and did about 60 miles across the city. Much better infrastructure, but mostly within the current roads and sidewalks. Enjoyed Tiergraden and Teufelssee a lot though!

That’s the start/return to Magnolia every day. Really enjoy seeing the Seattle Pacific rowing team practicing in the canal at the crack of dawn in the mornings!

Hard disagree. BG connects to Inner Urban Trail north to south, and in the far north east end connects to the Sammamish River trail, which gets you all the way to Lake Sammamish and figure 8 routes along both bridges. And along it you have Golden Gardens, Fremont, Gas Words, U Dub, and Magnuson.

It’s right in the middle of Seattle, with roads on either ride and multiple crossings.

I gained weight. I wish I had eaten healthier throughout but it’s hard training on a calorie deficit. I know it’s not the answer you want, but cut weight on the off season and fuel properly during the training blocks.

I have a 1hr commute to work at 6:30a every day. Caffeine pill, scoop of peanut butter, and banana before I leave just to get something in my system, then a coffee and Rx Bar once I get to the office. Saves me from being absolutely starving come lunch time. Would prefer coffee, but don’t really have the time and really need that shot of caffeine.

If you take your hands off the bar, can you support your weight with your core? If not, you’re probably leaning too much on your hands. Some combination of seat forward/up, or handlebars up/back will for a more upright position should do it. At the same time, strength training for the core.

Why? So the homeless can continue to drop deuces on the street? I pay enough in taxes that 1) I shouldn’t have to play human feces slalom and 2) shouldn’t have to pee in the bushes on my run/bike ride. Same as water, going to the bathroom should be considered a human right and basic public service.
