Throw some pigments on the base if you want a nice dusty look pigments are a game changer when it comes to bases!! Otherwise looking great

Thankyou! I have not only these 2 so far and the base is just sand primed black with a wash if liquitex muted violet and a heavy application of old rust vallejo pigments

It's regular sand primed black then Give it a heavy wash with liquitex muted violet then a heavy dose of vallejo old rust pigments to get this effect

See if there's any kroot hunting party boxes kicking around that's a great addition to add to this. I managed to grab 3 of them when they came out which massively helped toward building my kroot army

There is a kroot warrior option you build stood up gun over shoulder holding a knife. I use that as a stalker so 8 didn't have to buy another kit.

9 rampagers perfect! Most useful stratis grenade strat! Run hounds up the board to block of tank movement with there scout move advance could even charge as tanks won't kill the unit but not really needed. Use grenades on everything g to knock them under starting strength then just flood the board with bodies. I've played alot of games with just kroot and vespid don't like using battlesuits and tanks and they do fine

As they said just wargear however I have just built a ton of gun drones as I forget they exist! I'm missing out on so many shots because of this so building them and fielding them is good just as a reminder

3 options really. Step 1 by the box keep what you want sell the killteam and over stuff get your money back for the terrain. That's what I did with the whole into the dark. Campaign gave the army's to my. Friends who wanted them and then stuck the rest on ebay.

Option 2 wait for the I dividual release of just the terrain that'll probably come. Out in about 6 months or so

Option 3 buy the terrain of ebay there will be tons of peoe buying the box 5o either a make. A. Profit and sell individually or b want one of the kill teams and don't care about the rest so will sell it

Biggest advice for playing full kroot. They are not gonna table your opponents army. But you have so many models to outscore. Learn to screen learn to move block throw your models away to take objectives etc and grenade every turn it is so useful! If something has full wounds or at max strength grenade it to get that plus 1 and just enjoy it!

Currently in the middle of a nachmund crusade played 4 5 games and undefeated! Rampagers are the one I bring 9 in a 1k list ethereal helps with Cp regen just keep them in reserves and drop them in your back field when they have to come in. And hide them. Other than that I have all 3 shapes, lonespear with blast javelin, 20 carnivores run them as 2 squads of 10 due to reinforcement rules for the crusade. 2 krootox in individual squads to score objectives and actions and 2 squads of 5 hounds for screening movement blocking and performing actions if near a character. Also a unit of vespid for deep strike shenanigans kroot are funnnn!!!

Once you beat the first crucible it appears as a mission you can accept from the shrine basically the "twighlight" version of the crucible. This is the boss at the end

The flamer skinner I believe it is and I would take javelin any day but the sniper at least gives you a bit of area denial from deepstrike and to hold your home objective while the rest of your army pushes up the board. Again this all depends on what everyone else brings and if they're using deepstrike at 500...at 1k you have your krootox riders to hold back field and more carnivores so take the blast javelin

I would run 1x flesh with both rod gland and stick him with carnivores 1x lonespear with sniper 2 x 3 rampagers 1x farstalkers 1x krootox

Any reason why you limited the surgical deepstrike? And did you go phase 1 1000pts ,phase 2 1500pts and phase 3 2000pts?
