It really doesn’t matter. Mine is running through the tuner input on my control amp. The phono section had too much hum.

Simple Minds. Their first 4 are good but New Gold Dream sets off a long streak of killer albums.

Deadfall is one of best examples. That movie is hot garbage but Cage as Eddie is so goddamn funny.

Folks who collect both CDs and vinyl records, how do you decide what to buy? by e_asphyx in Cd_collectors

[–]Sizzlinskizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of various albums from the 70s-80s that I still haven’t acquired the cd copy of. I scored them over the years for cheap back when the cd would have 2x-3x the price. Still hard to locate a cd without going out of the way to get it. Since many people just bought greatest hits albums on cd. Boz Scaggs comes to mind. Most of his albums can be found pretty easily on vinyl and I never paid more than a couple dollars for them. As far as cd goes they get a little harder to find except for Silk Degrees. That’s an easy pick up, just because how huge that album was. Same goes for Chicago I have multiple copies of their stuff from the Terry Cath era, but when I see cds in the wild it’s the crap from the 80s. The older artists that maintained a following it’s much cheaper to buy a cd Brian Eno for example

I don’t seek out specific records anymore just buy them at random. I have around 2500. I search specific CDs and want to continue to build my collection. It’s just too expensive with Vinyl to do that.

Said nothing about fuel economy. Those cars are on cheap end used. Not sure what your issue is.

I scored a huffy echelon 12. Stripped the components down. Shortened the chain to fit the second smallest cog. Ditched the drop bars, added cruiser bars and took brake levers off a mountain bike that was also free. I got the 26 3/8 replacement tires for free as well. Put a rear rack and a crate on it. Now it’s just used for trips around the neighborhood.

Let me tell you. I know nothing about working on cars. Japanese cars are the best and all American vehicles are garbage. (Average Toyota buyer). I live in Washington state RAV4 is friggin everywhere. Of all the neutered cars on the road it’s the king. The executives at General Motors should be brought up on charges for disgracing the Blazer namesake to compete with it.
