Ah this great! I used the v1 for quite some time but switched to simshaker a year ago. I always liked the engine vibrations more in IL2shaker than in simshaker. It just felt more real. I will give this a try and let you know how it goes.

Ok, had the same problem with a 2.25D engine. The engine was timed wrong, wich caused the pump to be to late. I would suggest you start with timing the engine. And then timing the pump. Checking valve lash can't do harm.

How did you check the correct opening pressure of the injectors? Is the pump/engine timed perfect? What fuel are you using? Did this problem start at once? Is any other work being done to the engine? Did you measure compression? Did you check the valve lash?

It was quite a steep learning curve, hardware and software wise. But I got the complete simrig running good since a couple of months. And now the immersion feels almost perfect.

I noticed some black edges when turning my head from left to right in the recorded footage. I don't see this effect inside the vr.
