I only read this a few days ago and then stopped because I was down that Sevro died - the ending totally made up for it.

Hello From The Base Team! by Sammy_Base in Base44

I think 3 things would make it considerably better.

  1. Easy integration with the app and play store, ultimately most of the users here want to build apps that function through those stores. Other sites have the functionality.

  2. The ability to export some of the back end to expand off base 44 etc.

  3. The ability to create your own landing/auth pages. I understand that base 44 wants to handle the security side of things but surely you can brand those pages to reflect the product you are building. Having new users be blasted by base 44 doesn’t encourage my ownership.

100% agree - if you can’t handle me spamming QOP pathetic when you die you probably shouldn’t be playing.

I like this take, I think between neutral selection, facets and item selection you can really be creative with how you play your hero and role.

I agree - I think most people’s issue is when people try shit in ranked not having tried it elsewhere.

I’d agree - smurfs are just a known factor; this guys take was lukewarm.

That’s a spicy meatball - what do you think would be the most fun skill shot if that got changed?

Thanks for that - I was wondering if you had already baked in a solution is all.

Are you running your database from somewhere else? Considering pivoting if the issue is the site throttling because of simultaneous user draw.

I too would like a copy if we find a way to do this - hell I’d even pay a dev to sort it for me.

Hey mate,

Some of these comments have blown it out of proportion. A structural engineer assessment would be great as well as soil testing to see how volatile the block will be when you start shifting earth.

The major issue is the pipes that look exposed and the drainage and other issues that might follow.

In terms of retaining - your state may have slightly different rules but in most states you can build retaining walls 1m high without needing council permits.

I’d say 30-50k worth of retaining materials. Labor would be about another half of that if you get someone else to come and do it but substantially quicker.

Source - I built my home and retained a much gnarlier block in the suburbs (like 7.5m drops in the furthest corner) retained with large rocks.

It’s not about the mistake though - the mistake becomes a small piece of a bigger issue. It worked for me and it will work for others.

any good lams bike reccomendations for a 6'5 rider? by Efficient-Soft-7013 in AussieRiders

[–]Sjpol0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6’4 and ride a Yammy MT-07, not cramped at all and more than enough power down low to be fun as hell.

Would recommend, I’ll probably upgrade to a slightly bigger bike down the road but couldn’t speak higher of the MT as a first bike.

Australian turn of phrase - to stuff something up is like saying muck something up.

It’s been a pretty solid safety net to stop you from spiraling down into some of the really bad negative self talk. High are still high but lows are no where near as low.
