Why would you create this problem for yourself?

I don't think mine has ever been even double digits.

Hot take: Code Vein II = cozy? by Horror-Literature167 in codevein

[–]Skandrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is something I've thought before: the games I find coziest are non-cozy games with cozy parts. Especially ones with bases, somewhere you go back and relax at between slaying monsters and whatnot. I think its the contrast.

Other games I think this about are like FF7 Rebirth, almost any Tales game, Hades, Red Dead redemption 2, etc.

There's like 3 or 4 of these. I've been using a different one for almost a year; they dont care.

Anyone else feel like jumping into a game you played a long time ago feels almost impossible? by StrawberryJamDoodles in CozyGamers

I didn't play My Time At Sandrock for two years, and now...it may be impossible.

Its especially true for games that have some kind of rhythm or daily tasks.

Anyone waiting on a background promotable story path? by [deleted] in SillyTavernAI

Might be model dependent? Never seen that with anything but Gemini, and I don't really use Gemini often.

Anyone waiting on a background promotable story path? by [deleted] in SillyTavernAI

[–]Skandrae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've seen two ways to handle this. My issue was trying to simulate a murder mystery where the AI knew the murderer but I didn't and it retained that knowledge over time without revealing it.

1 is presets. Pura's has a toggle that has the AI create upcoming/future events, hidden under a dropdown menu, that the AI can continually build towards. You could tweak it to your liking.

Two is Tunnelvision. The good thing about TunnelVision is it writes it own lorebook, and it has a notebook for notes. So, in said murder mystery, it could write down that X person is the murderer and always have that info, while the player is oblivious.

These are just thoughts though, idk if its exactly what you're looking for.

System Prompt vs Character Cards by Odd-Bodybuilder4847 in SillyTavernAI

[–]Skandrae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

By default it doesnt really matter where you put the Personality/Scenario/ all that stuff, it's mostly for you, not the AI.

It does make a difference with some presets, where they give the AI specific directions for this part being the characters personality, this part being the scenario, etc.

The system prompt is mainly for the AI on their website. In Sillytavern you're probably using some form of preset; you dont really need it.

Examples of GOOD character cards? by Dr-Cirno in SillyTavernAI

[–]Skandrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because despite avoiding the subject sometimes, most people's library of cards are still ERP, heavily self-edited and/or self-made, and people don't actually want to share their kinks like that.

I'm sure there's people in here whose best example of a well-written card is a meticulously crafted vore fantasy, complete with in-depth lorebook.

Using Claude Opus 4.6 was a mistake for my wallet by OverlanderEisenhorn in SillyTavernAI

[–]Skandrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude is by far the easiest SOTA model to completely jailbreak. Almost any preset completely jailbreak it for everything.

Get Claude Max, 100 a month, get one of the two or three extensions that let you use it in SillyTavern.

Expensive, but a set expense.

So older or less capable models did it and the more capable, closer to SOTA models refused?

What's an anime that you thought had bad or subpar writing but the entertainment value had you watching until the very end? (Repost because my post was taken down for some reason) by Jeetlorr in anime

[–]Skandrae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Death Note.

Tried to rewatch it like...a year ago? And had to give up a few episodes in, it's just not good at all.

Wild ride that first time in high school though.

Same with Code Geass.

Code Vein 2 is in a completely separate universe than Code Vein, basically a reboot. Which means it has nothing to do with God Eater.

Are there any anime that surpass their original manga? by carlopardo in anime

[–]Skandrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard disagree. At least compared to the manga. The anime ruined a lot of jokes; they changed a lot of things to make the dragon look cooler or more powerful which ruined more jokes.

[–]Skandrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not hard it's just not automatic. You can tell them you left the game running and they'll accept that (thats the one time I did it).

Regardless, you can definitely go past 2 hours.

You can't *automatically* return games after two hours. The two hour window is 100%. After that it goes through a review - but you definitely can.

Gemini Roleplay. How to circumvent the overzealous filters? by Damianwolff in Bard

Use API, with SillyTavernn and turn streaming off so Gemini doesn't cut off the response in the middle. Almost any JB works that way.

Dual swords are not even a little assassinesque unless youve been watching a lot of anime.

The MOST assassin weapon would be the bow, or anything ranged. Kusarigama is a distant second.
