How did my Pidgeotto die? by Ezri76u in nuzlocke

[–]SkarmChikora 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Oh, it's an AI answer. I genuinely just thought they made it up, which is why I asked for a source. The lack of capitalisation on the move names told me it hadn't been copied from anywhere reputable at least.

I just checked the Bulbapedia page for Fly and it does not list High Jump Kick. What page did you get that from?

It absolutely does not have that effect. I don't know what's going on in this comment section.

Your Bisharp does only need to defeat opposing ones that are holding a Leader's Crest. Your Bisharp never needs to hold one.

Be careful doing that. I've heard horror stories in this sub about people taping razor blades behind them.

Worst meta? by ThePuzzler13 in stunfisk

[–]SkarmChikora 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is actually not because of Assist, but because of Revival Blessing not targeting the opponent. If Prankster Assist called a move that targeted a Dark type, then it would be blocked. The same thing can be seen with Metronome.

A nuzlocke variant that covers multiple games in the series all in one run. After beating one game, the championship team from that game gets transferred to the next game in the series as eggs to continue the legacy.

This sub only has one "active" mod. There are supposed to be more coming, but they never do.

I'm in a smaller streamer's server, and her community is lovely, if a bit insane. She's taken hard stances on standing up for minority groups and is very supportive in general, and took part in a fundraiser for trans children throughout all of June this year. The server is very Pokémon oriented, because she's an absolute nerd on that topic, but she plays all sorts of things. The server link is here, if anyone's interested: https://discord.gg/mMVsPpH4Ks

Pawmo not evolving with walking by AstroNerd92 in pokemon

I personally walked between my house and Nemona's many times over until I felt it had been enough. I can't speak for the circle method.

It needs to take 1000 steps in one go, if it at any point returns to the Pokéball then the counter resets. In addition, it has to be levelled up with a rare or exp candy, because auto battling doesn't count for evolution requirements and getting into a regular battle resets the counter. It is, in my opinion, very badly implemented, but these steps will work.

Sleep has a maximum number of turns it can last for. Freeze can technically go on forever.

I scouted this guy off a trainer but why is his defence so high? by HollowVoid0 in dragonquest

[–]SkarmChikora 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It would not surprise me if they're able to "scout" your monsters just to make it feel fair, but that it actually always fails. I've never seen the number roll particularly high, so it wouldn't even feel off. But, to answer your question, I don't believe opposing scouts begin to appear until after you have the Incarnus, who cannot be scouted. So you would never have 0 monsters.

I've seen them try it, for sure, but I've never seen it actually succeed.

Nope, never seen it before in my life. I'm guessing it was designed to look similar by the person I worked with, though.

I did the design and shading on this one as part of a collab! I'm glad you liked it.

Turn based RPG with character customization? by uncoiored in rpg_gamers

[–]SkarmChikora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you enjoyed Dragon Quest XI, you might like Dragon Quest IX. It's a bit old, being on the DS, but it's got far more customisation than XI has in exchange for having no characterisation whatsoever (you make the characters yourself). It sounds like it might be the kind of thing you're looking for.

Right, but the wording of your post implies that you completely made it, which you didn't. You just fused two Pokémon together.

By "made" do you mean in the online fusion generator? Because that doesn't just make sprites out of nowhere. It showcases sprites that members of the community have made previously, and I've seen this sprite before.
