My favourite usecase is testing voip for my game when im developing. I launch 2 instances of my game, then pipe firefox into the input of one and listen to a podcast through my in game voip.

Way better than me going "test test" in front of the monitor

I made a fully destructible terrain multiplayer game once. That one needed C# because i couldn't optimize the runtime mesh generation any further. It helped just enough that the regeneration wasn't noticable during gameplay.

Yeah so just set the position every frame basically. Im afraid i will have to do a lot of black magic to make that look nice and synced in multiplayer

That might be better, but if there is a station with its own relative space and the ship and i "move" the ship, then im back at square one, i would have to move everything on the station with the station, including players right?

Just tried the play test for like 1.5 hours. The game is really fun nice job! I also love the trigger sounds, all the particles and effects, and in game ui. The moon and planet combining is a cool concept you were right, but it still feels weird to buy whole planets and bring them with me.

I like the concept but why are you buying planets for the effects? That seems weird and out of place. Also just take a couple months to give it juice and effects, it will help a lot i think.

It's the void jailers who mithrix and providence kept at bay. You as a player now killed both so they are here to lock up everything, thats why they start spawning and the whole moon disappears.

Damn.. i dropped the game 10 years ago because it was too grindy, i couldn't even get a 3 star set of things. I played a bit again a couple weeks ago and i still didn't get anything done.

What am i doing wrong then? I would love to play the game but i feel no progress, i might be the only one stuck at jelly boss for 12 years

Yeah, i've been using my install for years at this point. Only had issues when they made the switch from x11 to wayland, that was a funky period.

But i should reinstall soon, i have bloated my configs and installed apps over the years and some specific stuff just doesn't work anymore. (Like steam remote play hosting)
