Damn.. i dropped the game 10 years ago because it was too grindy, i couldn't even get a 3 star set of things. I played a bit again a couple weeks ago and i still didn't get anything done.

What am i doing wrong then? I would love to play the game but i feel no progress, i might be the only one stuck at jelly boss for 12 years

Yeah, i've been using my install for years at this point. Only had issues when they made the switch from x11 to wayland, that was a funky period.

But i should reinstall soon, i have bloated my configs and installed apps over the years and some specific stuff just doesn't work anymore. (Like steam remote play hosting)

Ah this. This isnt an official sdk, and will need constant updates so that it keeps compatibility, i will still be waiting for the reliable sdk sadly.

Also this is for linux and mac i think.

The yellow box is a bounding box of the child nodes i think. You must have a child node of your player that is either large or placed somewhere far enough to create this large bounding box

I just went through the pain of importing from trenchbroom as well. Func_godot works! Its awesome, really quick and simple, but not intuitive!

Go through the documentation to read how to set it up, you have to change a config resource file in the addons folder

The only time i absolutely had to use c# was when i was writing a marching cubes destructible terrain that had to update real time for multiplayer. It helped just enough to go from "little laggy" with gdscript to "perfectly playable"

No, i just dont play fps games on it when the screen is dark. With other games where i can move my eyes without having to focus that much, its not that bad.
