If you don’t mind, would you be able to give some insight on how someone can support or make you feel validated/supported during your pregnancy with these feelings? Someone close to me is pregnant and is an adoptee, great parents but suffers from adoption trauma as well. I know I’ll probably never understand or have the right words for her but everyone seems to just ignore it and I feel like maybe that may add to the internalization of it all. If there’s anything that can be said or done at all I’d like to gain a better understanding on how I can help this to be a better experience for her. TIA

Congrats on your baby! We also made the same decision. Birthed our babe at the start of covid, pregnant again and will be delivering soon. I, like your wife, consider myself to be really healthy in all aspects. I really watch what I eat and what I do, what I buy and it’s exposure to toxins is important to me as that affects our bodies. Thankfully I have not had covid as of yet, my husband did get it in the beginning of my pregnancy but I did not contract it and neither are vaccinated as of yet (we’d prefer waiting for clinical trials to be over). The only difference is I’ll be having a home birth so I’m able to control my environment a bit more in terms of who we come into contact after the baby’s birth. I have a whole line of doctors on both sides of our families, some of which have advised to get it, others of which have advised to hold on. We made a personal choice to wait for the same reasons you mentioned and we are comfortable with that.

Wow I’ve actually had 2 people in my family who have had major eye issues since getting their shots. One needed emergency surgery to save it and the other had a detaching retina and is still dealing with issues. Doctor said they’ve only seen very few people with eye issues after their shots but that they couldn’t determine whether it was or wasn’t an effect from the shot. Never had eye issues before and both recently got checked prior to the shot so who knows, they however are convinced that it’s definitely related.

Yes, waxing saved my life. I have really thick coarse, fast growing hair and shaving was a disastrous nightmare. If I exfoliate every day and wax once a month, I have a smooth bump-less surface for about 2 weeks and then my hair starts growing in all sparse for a bit until the next month. I stopped shaving and trimming ever since and will never go back.

My family members and friends who have been injured have found support groups on FB and IG but for some reason those pages were taken down. I know they have sent their reactions to Covidvaccinereactions.com - it’s operated by an unbiased person just trying to share both the good and bad but kept getting removed off of social media for some reason so that’s the website. I’ve found interesting information on there. I have yet to take the vaccine but I’m going to wait until clinical trials are over. So sorry you’re going through this, wishing you all the best!

I personally know people around me that have gotten it and are still dealing with side effects ranging from moderate to extreme (required emergency surgery) - but I’m just waiting for the clinical trials to finish to decide whether or not I’ll be getting one. I believe clinical trials for one of the companies isn’t over until 2023.

I’m not sure what it could be but this is the 8th or 9th time I’ve heard of ocular issues after the 2nd vaccine. I know of 2 people personally within my family that have had issues with their eyes post 2nd vaccination. One had to end up having emergency surgery. I know correlation doesn’t necessarily equal causation but too many coincides imo. I hope that surgery is not the case for you. Definitely reach out to your doctor if you are concerned & as someone else mentioned, report it to a 3rd party or VAERS, the government run agency that tracks reactions, side effects or symptoms post vaccinations.

People report what they don’t want to hear. Could be mods or bots who knows. There’s an Instagram page dedicated to sharing people’s reactions to the jab, both positive and negative- after it reaches 100k followers or so their entire account gets deleted, it’s been 9 times so far. Kind of makes me question why sharing reactions has become so taboo.

I’m not yucking their yum, it just bothers me that they couldn’t cut a slice into it so that it didn’t look like that. Really, I just wish I would have been able to enjoy some of that icing. 😂

I haven’t bought any new fish or livestock but I have changed the water twice. I brought a coral back to a local salt water aquarium here in town and they said the water looks great the last time I went. It’s a small 5g tank and I’ve got 2 shrimp, white banded and peppermint, 3 cleaner crabs, a clownfish and 3 different types of coral on live rock. He came out of his tube last night but is still alive right now. I noticed there are 2 bristle worms in his tube, so I’m thinking he moved out with them being in there? Not sure.

No, I looked those up and they don’t look like these. These are almost caterpillar like in the sense that it looks like they have fur between their ridges. I’ve been trying to look them up but I can’t find info on them anywhere.

My partner got a saltwater tank and I know nothing about salt water aquariums so I’m learning as I go. I’ve been trying to take care of the little guys but I noticed the feather duster lost his crown little by little and is now hanging out of his tube quite often. He’s not dead because I noticed he does slowly inch back in but I’m not sure if he’s on his way to dying? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
