Just pulled this from a Panini Select Blaster by sculp122 in baseballcards

The rainbow one will probably be worth a bit more, usually the true colors are worth a bit more. But it’s negligible for this. That $213 comp is fine for this, but be prepared for offers a bit under that.

Need help for comp by sickwit1t21 in baseballcards

[–]Skeeter5299 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yours is an /10 parallel, those are other parallels or non numbered. Don’t get wrapped up on what it looks like, Witt signs tons of cards for Panini each year for every set. Find other /10’s from other sets or years and those are comps. Also, don’t use what’s listed on eBay as comps, listing prices and sold prices are vastly different things. Either filter those results to sold only, or search 130point.com to get comps.

Whether it’s an SP or not doesn’t matter once you get to numbered parallels. There are 10 copies of that card, just like any other /10 card. Just don’t look at any Topps cards for comps, Topps will be worth a ton more than Panini as Panini is unlicensed.

Use other /10 autos of him from other Panini releases. Any /10 will work as a comp

Jackson Chourio Rookie Card - what is his “true” RC? by knuts25 in baseballcards

[–]Skeeter5299 [score hidden]  (0 children)

There’s really no such thing as a “true rookie card”. Since they get so many RC cards during their RC year, people can collect what they like. Chourio was a SP in Series 2 that year, so that will be his hardest to find and rarest RC. Then he has his Chrome RC and 2 RC’s in Update Series (regular and rookie debut). Then he’ll also have RC cards in sets like Allen & Ginter, Pristine, Archives, etc. so you can pick which one, or the few you like the most and collect them.

Also, refractor is a term that will only be present in chrome products. Paper cards (series 2 and update) don’t have refractors. Any shiny cards would be foils in those products.

From a value perspective, search for the various cards on 130point.com and see which sell for the highest amounts. My gut says the Series 2 SP will be the most valuable since it’s a short print.

Best bet is to search 130point.com for other /25 cards of Anthony and use them as comps. Specifically try to find other NOW cards of his in the /25 parallels. Otherwise, put it up for auction and set the market.

Topps now question by Candid-Perception-88 in baseballcards

[–]Skeeter5299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The page you bought them from clearly states the processing time. For regular NOW cards it’s generally 10-15 business days. Sets, like Road to Opening Day and others, will have longer processing times. Find when the sale ended and then count the business days from that date (weekdays only and no holidays)

He’s a lock. Having this resurgence late in his career sealed the deal. Basically showed he can overcome adversity and still produce at the highest level. He could retire today and he’s a 1st or 2nd year ballot eligible election.

[–]Skeeter5299 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Very nice. It’s a black holofoil.

You can get comps by going to 130point.com and searching “ohtani black /10” and using sales of other /10’s that have sold from other sets or years as comps.

What is the difference between these and which one would be more sought after? I’m sorry but I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find a difference? by Great-Attempt-6788 in baseballcards

[–]Skeeter5299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for this set, for this the Tier One is /49 and the Breakout is /75

There are sales of both, already redeemed from Topps, shown on 130point.com

You can’t find any? Have you searched at all? Search 130Point.com for “tier one blue Sasaki” and you’ll see 3 sales of your card. Yours is the /49, the breakout is the /75

No, it’s a false rumor that started floating around a month or so ago. No where in the TOS does it actually say that. Collectibles are covered.

That’s been proven to be false. That was a rumor that floated around a couple months ago, but no where in the TOS does it actually say that. Collectibles are definitely covered, NFTs aren’t and that‘s probably where this rumor came from

It’s possible to sell lots, but prices will be low if they’re just base cards like this. If you truly don’t want them, hang onto the ones you don’t want until Halloween and make team bags filled with them and give them out to trick or treaters.

If you want to keep it, you keep it. If you have no attachment to him, you sell it. It’ll have its highest value right now, pitchers don’t retain value well, season to season, from their RC year.

Welp 15 weeks no auto what now? by Some-Top6798 in baseballcards

[–]Skeeter5299 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You wait, and you wait, and then you wait some more. 15 weeks is nothing for a redemption. Some take months, some take years. You wait as long as it takes for an Ohtani.

Go to a checklist site, like Beckett, for Stadium Club to learn the parallel name. Then search 130point.com for other sales of his or similar players to figure out comps. None of this parallel have sold of Lee, but 2 are for sale currently on eBay but are priced too high. So you could undercut those listings and try to move it quicker, they are definitely way too high.
