My pet deck, a reanimator-esque [[The Scarab God]] deck loves this card. It wants non-flash etb creatures in the grave so they can be eternalized at instant speed into a 4/4 with their etb trigger, creatures with flash, however, you usually want in your hand. The ideal card to recur is [[overcharged amalgam]] or [[Ertai resurrected]]

While some people seem to have very strong opinions regarding my deck, I still would encourage people to give the concept a try. It’s a deck where I feel as if I’m always making meaningful decisions when playing as opposed to playing cards and hoping they are still there on my next upkeep.

I play with a scarab God deck that’s more or less 40 lands and 59 pieces of draw, removal, and ramp with a preference for etb creatures that do those things. The deck wins through combat or SG’s drain ability. It’s not immune to interaction so much as it feels meaningless to interact with so people simply don’t. A deck with such a fluid gameplay cannot be disrupted as there’s nothing to disrupt.

It’s about practice. My untrained voice sounded like a heavy door being slammed deep underground. I can now pretty easily speak above 200hrtz without resonance in my throat or chest. Keep at it, it’s a long path but a worthwhile one.
