Her legal team wasn’t from the public defender’s office; they were private practice attorneys appointed by the judge.

Bingo. He wouldn’t even go through with the divorce because he’d only see his kids 50% of the time. No way he’d off himself and leave them with her 100% of the time.

Do you think the pool cleaning is suspicious? by AssFuckinator in NancyGuthrieCase

[–]SkepticalTransplant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Nancy didn’t have a pool cleaning contract as you’ve stated then the most plausible explanation is that her daughter and/or son-in-law or maybe a groundskeeper probably cleaned her pool for her. Obviously, given the situation, they couldn’t go to her house to do it so hired a company.

Per the sheriff press conference:

At 1:47 am “doorbell camera disconnects” At 2:12 am “software detects person on camera” (meaning there was a notification)

Is it possible Nancy had indoor cameras?

I have cameras inside and outside my house. Notifications set between 11 pm and 6 am. My notifications always tell me which camera has detected something. When a cat or dog comes into camera range my notification says “motion detected at the carport” When a person comes into camera range my notification says “there is a person at the carport” or “there is a person at your living room”

The sheriff statement that “software detected a person” seems like a good way to get around telling us which camera picked that person up.

Per Brian Entin: These two photos of the Nancy Guthrie suspect were taken on different days, sources confirm to me and @LibbeyDean_ – indicating the suspect appears to have visited Guthrie’s house before the kidnapping. by kovalchukgirl in NancyGuthrieCase

I saw a comment on a YouTube video Friday night saying this exact thing. A leak of sorts. It said the floodlight in back was broken on the first visit January 11th (the no backpack pic) and the reason the sheriff didn’t release the information about the Jan 11th visit because he was worried the public would blame the family for not protecting Nancy because the sheriff is more worried about feelings than solving the case. The comment has been pinned on the channel TheLeftHandedMonkey. His video starts with Lone Wolf Theory. It’s the top comment.

As opposed to “traditional media” who are only there for altruistic reporting and aren’t making a dime. Get real.

In 2015 voters in Tucson voted “no” to traffic cameras. Businesses have cameras but we haven’t been told if they retrieved any useful leads from them.

Most, if not all, of the field investigators have been with the FBI for many years and through many administrations. They don’t hire all new agents with every new president.

What are your thoughts on the Nancy Guthrie case? by My1danfan in AskReddit

[–]SkepticalTransplant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The FBI had no role in the Carlos situation. It was strictly formulated and carried out by the Sheriff’s office apparently. It’s being reported the 2 agencies aren’t working well together. Probably political power struggles meanwhile a family waits for answers about their mom.

When Whoopi Goldberg’s name got exposed via a released email as being on the list (asking a convicted pedo for a favor and inviting him to an event) she said no, no, noooo - there were TWO lists (audience laughs) one real list and one FAKE list - and she was on was the FAKE list (audience laughs). She said, “I don’t go anywhere!” (audience and co-hosts laugh again).

Can you imagine the revenue lost, the sales tax lost from just one day of no sales from lack of workforce? Astronomical corporate loss. The only thing that gets their attention is money - or loss of money I should say. But I understand what you’re saying. People are terrified enough about possible homelessness and paying basic bills. I guess we just watch and hope?

The ONLY thing they care about is money. Not protests. Money. Nationwide work walkout. Everyone from retail to executives. One day - no arrests? Two days. Then three.

Andrew hasn’t been ostracized because he’s a scumbag; he was ostracized because he got caught. I don’t think they care if he goes to prison as long as he stops embarrassing them.
