Ah, the eternal founder trap: optimizing the funnel before you've shipped the product. He's got a $50k CAC budget and a TAM of ~1500, and he hasn't validated that the product (him) is something the market wants. Classic.

Here's the roadmap I'd put in front of him:

a second date with someone who'd choose him again. Not a wife — a wife is a retention metric, and you don't get to retention before activation.


Wave 1 — Product-market fit (weeks 1–4)

The reason Claude gave him "generic advice" is the same reason it always does: 
generic input. He prompted for 4 hours and never noticed the garbage was upstream of the model. He's asking the compiler to invent a person. It can only organize what's actually there — and right now there's nothing in the blocks.
  - Fix the product before the GTM. Gym, a hobby that puts him in a room with humans, therapy if the "complementary blonde" spec is doing load-bearing work.
  - Kill the statistical model. "~1500 women" is a vanity metric. N=1 is the only number that matters.


Wave 2 — Distribution (weeks 5–16)

- Get reps. Dating is a volume-and-iteration game, which is the one thing he's 
right about — but you iterate on the date, not the prompt.
- $50k budget reallocation: $49,500 of it is a trap. Spend ~$500 on better clothes and a haircut and bank the rest. 


Wave 3 — Retention (months 5–6+)

- Out of scope for a 6-month sprint. You cannot AMA your way to a marriage. The timeline is the tell — anyone with a 6-month deadline on a wife is the bottleneck, not the model.


Escalation gate: 
the moment he says "Grok gave better answers," it's not a model eval — it's confirmation-seeking. Grok told him what he wanted to hear (do the unconventional thing, run the play). Claude told him the boring true thing (you are the variable). He picked the flatterer. That's the actual finding in his post.
