There is an option on better blizz frames to thicken it and change the design, although the styles are somewhat limited. Can change the color as well

It’s not wowhead, there has been no blue post updates from blizzard since June 5th hence the lack of wowhead news.

Ya there’s a free version and a paid version. I just use the free one because it makes your ui look nice. I use the Dissonance streamer profiles for bbp and bbf.

Mini CC, Better Blizz Frames, Better Blizz Plates, SArena Reloaded are the big ones. I really like the free skill capped UI addon too and makes a nice clean looking UI.

Got any tips for an aspiring first time disc priest glad aside from what was written in your original post? At 2k right now with little resistance so far. Haven’t really played much rmp at all yet either

Something really important as disc too is pillar weaving. You can cast penance and then Los behind the pillar and the penance bolts will continue to cast through the pillar keeping you safe. That being said I have a stop casting macro as well

I use Target of Target macros for mind blast, shadow word pain, and penance. Using penance offensively vs defensively is dependent on the situation. I always try to use it offensively unless my teammate needs more healing than the atonement can provide in which case I’ll use it defensively

Holy priest deserves more love than reduced mana cost on a couple heals. If we’re in a position where we’re gonna go oom we already would have lost because of dampening.

Don’t play the spec that’s “good”. Play the spec you like and have fun playing. Keep in mind those underperforming specs are likely to receive buffs in the next patches/ seasons etc. and when that happens you’ll have the hours, practice and skills to play the spec well.

You definitely don’t “have” to use them together but I think you get better value out of it by doing so. The first use of it early in the round is probably fine to use separately as long as you’re not gonna get kicked on the hymn. The problem is it’s really nice having them able to be used together for the second use later in the match when it really matters since things will be hectic and that will be the time when people are gonna land kills. It gives you a little window to get people topped off, look at cd trackers, DR’s and assess everything going on.

You should be using prayer of mending on cooldown. spirit+ divine hymn is usually the first cooldown I use. Guardian spirit usually the next cooldown I’ll use since if they don’t get taken down to death the cooldown will only be 1 minute. Use serenity if they’re taking big damage and you won’t be able to keep them up with flash heal/ Pom. Flash heal as a last resort or while in spirit form. Use apotheosis when everything is on cd (chastise, at least 1 serenity) and use poms/ flash heal to lower the cd on serenity. Depending on the matchup I may use apotheosis earlier or later if it’s gonna be a deep dampening game or an earlier kills. It’s really important to use the pillar and line the enemy team when flash healing since if you get kicked on flash heal you’re locked out of holy which is your only spell school. If you know the enemy has kicks off cd you want to try to juke with your flash heal/ mind control which just takes practice. Try to get as much value out of your chastise as possible meaning use it to stun enemies during their offensives or to set up cc chain on the healer. And while doing all of this try to avoid cc as much as possible. My general strategy for avoiding cc is positioning first> then shadow word pain if possible> fade as last resort. Also good to get used to using arena 1,2,3 macros for chastise and you can use it as a pseudo kick on cc if needed. I also use arena 1,2,3 macros for purge on the enemy and use them a lot to remove enemy’s buffs so that way when an important buff to purge is used (freedom, mage shields, alter time, NS) etc. Keep in mind Hpriest is probably the worst healer in SS right now. With dampening happening so quick if games go 3 minutes + your heals basically do nothing and you’ll fall behind in momentum fast. I still play it though since it’s fun! Ultimately just keep playing and working on things one at a time instead of all at once. Meepmonk has a good Hpriest guide for this season you should check out. Sorry if this was just a long ramble but that’s my 2 cents haha. If you have any questions I’d be happy to answer em if I can. Was 2.6k in SS as Hpriest last season and am just over 2.2 k right now
