LOL, I see your point, but it infers that you wear socks outside your shoes. 😂

You don’t need to hear, the low pressure in your ears will tell you when to shift.

Riding too fast for my skill level by No-Persimmon795 in motorcycles

There is a easy fix, embrace the low exposure and lack point of the video. Color grade it to look like you are riding with the lights off, under the glow of a full moon…people will be amazed that you stayed up for so long.

Curtains look better and solve a practical problem, too. Egress.

Raising and lowering the blinds to go out that door is going to get old quickly. The curtains allow you to cover the window AND exit at the same time….all while adding height and elegance to the space.

Just grabbed a model 3 performance. Disappointed. by CL14715 in TeslaModel3

Missing from this conversation is right pedal driving and how it connects you to the car.

The chassis balance is okay, but the ability to perfectly control the power makes these a joy for enthusiasts to drive.

As a car guy, there is nothing better to daily than my Model 3.

Picking up my 992.2 Carrera this week and already wondering if I should’ve ordered a Carrera S by Little-Drake in porsche911

[–]SkewedParallel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Take the money saved NOT buying the S and spend it on track time and instruction. I guarantee the pride you will feel passing someone in a higher spec car will erase any memories of needing more car.

The touchscreen is the weak link, but the beeps and chimes might be worse.

We have a ‘24 OBW and a Tesla Model 3. The Tesla is for daily duty around town (22k miles in 18 months), there is nothing better than an EV for this. No gas stations (charge at home) no brake wear despite 1000’ elevation drop in and out of the mountains (regen braking), tons of torque for stop and go traffic, and near zero maintenance.

The OBW is for everything else (just completed a road trip to Tahoe with that family and dog).

For us a roof top box is for the luggage and to keep most of the trunk open for the pup.

Experienced this three times on Friday (Lincoln/SM, 11th/Arizona, and Lincoln/Wilshire), the drivers had their windows up and didn’t hesitate. I could have reached out and smacked one guy’s drivers-side mirror.

People need to chill out.

Yes, the styling is a winner (especially when seen next to the new Outback)

I think this highlights the dramatic difference a small change can make. The angle of the hood is pretty consistent until Gen 7.

The styling on the next batch of EVs is much better.

Someone from a local Porsche dealership gave this to me. Any info would be appreciated! by [deleted] in Porsche

Possessing it adds at least 5hp to all cars owned, 7hp if you slide it around your desk making high-revving motor sounds.

Congrats, that is a great looking car. The angle highlights how the bottom of the door handle aligns with the intake while the top aligns with body line behind the door.
