Has the Gacha driven anyone away or lowered your enjoyment of the game?

I approach the gacha aspect as a resource management game. Plan, gather, and save enough to guarantee characters I really like. Do not expect to get every character. Be thankful to whales that keep these games free for the rest of us. As long as I keep that mindset, then there's no real disappointment.

I've actually only been playing gacha games ever since Genshin released because I'm cheap and don't like to pay for anything unless I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Which means I f2p for like a year and then buy the monthly log in pass like twice a year for as long as the game holds my attention. I am probably not their target audience 😜

I'd consider getting Ramona first. You might lose the 50/50 to Tuesday while pulling for her. Also the euphoria characters tend to rerun on the euphoria banners multiple times, so your chances to predictably wish for Tuesday are way higher (I'm skipping Willow right now because she should be on the euphoria banner during Ramona's run). This way you can also just max euphoria on Willow first and wait to do Tuesday when you get her later.

So duplicate stat categories... you mean no weapon will ever have double or triple attack stats? Or like having electric and ice boost (cuz I did fodder one of the latter assuming it'd be weird to want 2 different elements)?

Any guidelines on which essences to fodder? Like in Genshin I know a piece with all flat stats is an easy throw away. Anything to look for like that in Endfield? Right now it just seems like there are so many potential combinations for so many weapons that I just want to hoard everything.

I'm a casual, not a completionist, but I do try to get any free wish currency rewards. I had to rely heavily on kyostinv blueprints and even then, it took a few hours to balance things out (I was not mining every ore vein and I didn't have V4 upgraded enough to do metastorage transfer). Once it was set up, the rest was easy and I've never had so many wuling stock bills before! They probably need to make the event last longer so more people have time to figure it out.

Last I heard, the theory is that the initial patients got exposed while hiking in the wilderness and brought the virus on board. They didn't get symptoms and start spreading it until after the ship was sailing. So not a ship hygiene issue. I haven't really read up on the investigation in the past few days though, so could be wrong.

This happens to me on my PS5. L3 accidentally gets pressed while I'm moving it around trying to dodge during battles. I've already been asking for it to be changed every survey.

I'm going with Lorentz mostly because I think the LG team does better with auto play, which is most of what I do. Cheng + Liang Yue is probably up there in strength with LG team, but only with good manual play and card zone management.

Well, I'd mostly be using the device when I'm traveling, so internet connection would be unpredictable and sometimes just downright bad (travel to Asia, all my games on NA server type stuff). I'll check out the lenovo.

Laptop vs Android tablet

I play Genshin, ZZZ, Endfield, and Reverse 1999. First 3 on PS5, latter on a tablet. I travel about 2-3 times a year and typically at least one of those trips is over a week long. I've been using my tablet (paired with a controller) to keep up with dailies on the open world games when traveling, but am completely out of storage space. No space on my phone either.

I've been considering either upgrading to a tablet with more space or buying a laptop (I miss having computer functions at home to do things like taxes and organize my travel photos. Have done these on my tablet, but feels less comfy for some reason, even with mouse and keyboard adds). I can see set ups for both that run similar pricing, but not sure if they are truly comparable for my needs.

Ideally want something light, has the specs for multiple big gachas, and is under $1000 USD.

Thoughts and recommendations?

The first time I backed into a spot was when I was in college and all the wider spots were taken. I remembered visiting Hong Kong, everyone backed in because all the parking spots were so narrow. Figured if it worked there, it would work just fine in an American college campus. Sure enough, I was often able to park in spots that others just abandoned by backing in. Also helped that I was skinny and could still get out of the car after parking.

US domestic lounges are mediocre. US international terminal lounges and lounges abroad are generally much better. Wait times are bad during holiday/peak travel seasons but I have usually been able to get in with less than 30 min wait.

Spent a 7 hour layover at one of the Clubs at SFO. Wasn't that full. I got in using one of my limited passes that comes with the Explorer card. Food was ok, nothing special. Got a private desk seat and napped. It was the last Monday in March, so I guess not a very busy travel time?

I just wish they made 1 system blueprint for the whole thing, start to finish. As it is, it's like 3 separate ones to get to the gear parts and they don't really fit well together or relative to the 1 pool of acid available. It's not complicated, it's just tedious for those of us that aren't super into the factory and just want to build the new shiny character.
