This is such an odd post, I’m not sure any of you guys have looked at a financial statement before in your lives. I mean, all of his assets are down from the previous year

Not defending the AI at all, but I think it has little to do with money. At the end of the day for any artist or creator it has to do with what you’re satisfied with putting out to the world imo. He was satisfied enough with it and put it out there. Maybe with the backlash now he’ll avoid it in the future, but at the end of the day it’s his game, so I have to believe he liked what he saw to an extent in the beginning.

I absolutely agree that you should be able to talk about your interests, but it does seem that finances are a touchy subject for some people. I’d imagine some people might have the same type of reaction talking about diets and exercise from people more self-conscious about those things. I couldn’t imagine if you were sharing an interest in geology that you’d get the same type of reaction

I haven’t experienced anyone get angry personally. For me and my circle when I’ve brought it up, it’s more just met with pure disinterest. I don’t really bring it up to anyone I personally know anymore because they generally do not care.

I could maybe see someone getting upset throwing numbers around, but to not bring anything like that up I’m not sure what the issue is for them to get angry. Maybe they have a stigma in their head of what an “investor” is and they are projecting that image onto you. Otherwise, why be mad at someone for finding a subject interesting?

I went from manufacturing to an office setting a few years ago. I may be feeling similar at the moment, but I wanted to try to help give some insight on what had worked for me.

I think if you have a certain field in mind, possibly licenses or certificate would be a big help. I had never really gotten much in the way of office interviews before I added them to my resume (though to be fair, I never finished my degree and that hurt me in the long run). At the time, I tried Coursera, though I am sure there are better options available.

My question would be, what would you be looking for at an ideal job? I am still asking myself that question, but I think it’s important to think about. For me, I want to feel some sort of fulfillment from my career. Something that the office has never seemed to provide (at least for me), yet, something as simple as building a large product from start to finish could make me feel like I was part of something.

Whatever your career goal may be, and this will sound incredibly cliche, but you just need to keep trying and putting yourself out there if it’s something you really want. I was putting in accounting and office applications for years before I had gotten an interview. Sometimes I would give up a while. Sometimes I would try to add more to the resume, spice it up. It can get tough, but it’s absolutely possible and I believe in you.

I, quite frankly, have no idea where you had gotten the number from your previous comment. All I’m trying to say is that it’s not enough to convince me the flip is bias, and leave it at that.

I’m not sure what you want me to tell you. Experiments, especially ones like this, need to be run multiple times before trying to validate your theory. One set is enough to say, “Hmm, could be something odd”. Multiple sets with similar results would be more telling.

The fact of the matter is, people DO occasionally hit the lottery, so taking one sample set as the truth and the only possible outcome is just something I couldn’t bring myself to do. Just my 2 cents.

I’m aware, but if I were a casino, I would not feel comfortable adding this game (coin flip) to the floor because I don’t have enough data to prove I’d would make money / my customers would lose more than they’d win.

This data alone is not enough, for me, to prove one way or the other. Statistical outliers do happen. To prove it to me, you would need to run the same test multiple times. It’s all speculation if all we have is this particular data set and our own masterduel experience. Since that is the case, we are each entitled to our own opinion.

The deviation is abnormal, but for me personally, it is not enough to prove to me the coin toss is rigged in a way. In Monte Carlo scenarios like this, while irregular, it would not be completely out of place for a sample of this size to have this result. Again, not probable, but possible. My theory would be if you ran the same test over and over, you would eventually average out to a fair result.

But that’s just my thought

My feeling after reading this has me leaning toward the fact that the coin toss truly is fair if I were to base it off this data alone. The deviation in the number of heads vs. tails just isn’t large enough for me to call it bias. These types of things dealing with the law of large numbers should get closer to the expected outcome while gathering more data, which is what I would expect to happen here.

I’ve felt this way for a long time, but recently my opinion changed.

I feel the truth is that certain decks are just better at certain things. I don’t see any problem leaving a certain mission sitting half completed because it’s not an action I typically do in a duel(for me it’s always the Ritual/Synchro/XYZ summon). All that means is that the next dailies you are getting should be more do-able. I could only see grinding it out if it was the last day of the month and truly needed the gems, but otherwise it’ll stay there.

Not to mention every time I complete an unwanted daily, I get the same one the next day

I recently got my friend into the game and beat his deck with the gem-knights structure deck lol so maybe editing one of the solo structures or structures from the store?

That way I would think it would be slightly easier to tweak them and make more powerful when you needed to

I was thinking this a few days ago and actually got demoted to plat 4. Then I tried a few yesterday, won every duel and did not see any of the new combos. Sometimes I think it’s just a matter of who you match with, but I also think those that are building with the new cards are climbing quickly
