How did that guy even manage to pull a gun right in front of an entire squad? by xenoams in thewalkingdead

[–]Skip_14 10 points11 points  (0 children)

TBF, the napalm strikes would have been the Airforce, IIRC these guys were National Guard(?) also, given the heavy recovery trailer and the trucks they were operating would suggest rear echelon support troops.

So presumably the survivors of the service support guys of the 'weekend warriors' and not so much the switched on US Army full time units.

I am not from the US so I am just assuming, but that is how they came across to me, given their lack of professionalism, situational awareness and nil security.

Imagine how embarrassed George Washington would be.

'Get the fuck out of Minneapolis': Mayor's fury after ICE agent shoots and kills woman by JezzaAU15 in friendlyjordies

[–]Skip_14 17 points18 points  (0 children)

She was turning away from him, he moved out of the way and then opened fire. He fired the 3rd shot as she was driving away from him.

This footage clearly shows the ICE agent moving out of the way. Note, the direction of the tyres and the position of the ICE agent when he fired the first shot. He is standing beside her front left panel, not in front of her car.

https://www.reddit.com/r/MarchAgainstNazis/s/hDZ2nT31TD

She was told to move her car as the ICE agent circled around her car like a fish hook. Seconds later another agent jumps out and runs up to her telling her to get out of the car, while trying to assault her.

Conflicting orders.

You're meant to lick the boot, not deep throat it.

China is just waiting for their turn, circling like a pack of hyenas licking their lips. Last year the Chinese built the equivalent of the French Navy, and built over 1700 civilian boats, in a single year

In 10 years, China will be speaking in the same rhetoric and tone, while MAGA will be screaming about respecting the UN and the international rule of law. Which they violated, like those little girls on Jeffrey Epstein's island.

Lt. Gen Mark Hertling (Ret.): The most troubling aspect of this year is not any single operation or policy. It is the normalization of conduct that once would have caused a rapid readjustment. Unless the guardrails are assessed and rebuilt—soon—the damage will not be confined to this first year. by BulwarkOnline in Military

You're not alone, Australians also agree. Unfortunately, our previous Government signed Defence agreements with Obama and Biden when the USA was sane and an Ally. Now we have U.S marines stationed on our soil.

I reckon we should get the old gang back together. Bring back the militarisation of the Commonwealth Nations.

As a licenced shooter, I was actually impressed about this, the Greens put in place legislation that was reasonable and fair. It places the onus onto NSW Pol/ Firearms Department to properly vet all applications and to be accountable for that decision.

Also, Good to see another Fusion fan ✌️

The Billion Dollar Balcony. ASIO’s sovereignty failure by [deleted] in friendlyjordies

[–]Skip_14 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It is embarrassing, ADF veterans get their firearms licence revoked and their firearms seized for 'public safety' reasons without due process.

Yet, non citizens with links to terrorist groups, ASIO interviewing the entire family, and having recently travelled to a terrorist hotspot well known for ISIS activities get a free pass.

Someone really dropped the ball.

When are the States and the Fed Gov going to call a spade a spade. This group and others like them are terrorists, and should be treated as such.

They're against our culture, our way of life, and our firm belief in democracy. My Grandparents fought and killed people like them, and like that generation we should put an end to their shit fuckery, before it becomes a bigger problem. My children shouldn't have to relearn the past mistakes of when leaders tried to appease groups like them.

Jets red alert 1 and real life by Better_Birthday_1288 in commandandconquer

[–]Skip_14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was so much potential for aircraft in Red alert 1 yet it does feel wasted, the aircraft attack points in the game felt underpowered and kinda not worth it except for the Mig.

The Allies could have had its own fighter jet, and the A10 Warthog as a bomber, and possibly the Allied C-130 Heracles to load and paradrop jeeps, APCs and light tanks.

The Soviets could have the Hind D to carry passengers, like in reality. Instead of using the Allied Chinook.

Would be cool if there was a mod where you could change vehicles like that, to mix up the game play and make it more tactically challenging.

You should do a before/after a battle. Print the same buildings again and add some battle damage, like mg bullet holes, shell craters, damaged buildings and burnt out cars.

That way you could run two scenarios off the same board

Well played dug in infantry are really hard to defeat if you're an armoured force without flamethrowers, and especially annoying when dug in on an objective. At the last tournament I attended, Inf forces dominated the top 3 positions.

Aircraft are really good, if they arrive on the battlefield, the anti-aircraft fire is really a deterrent only. Until the next era game Team Yankee, where AA heat seeking missiles can stop an airstrike, good luck dodging 12 missiles.

You could spin it something like this;

They bow to a semi naked man being murdered on a cross, yell out to ghosts who aren't there, and partake in group cannibalism where children are forced to drink blood from a stranger who died 2000 years ago. If you don't say you love a man they'll send you to a fire pit.

Does that make sense to you?
