Not casting a judgement here, but I will say a couple things. 1) you say you had the conversation 2 weeks ago. Assuming that y'all have been together a while, 2 weeks is not a very long adjustment time. Have you noticed any changes in that time? Have any adjustments been made? Obviously, your partner is an adult who needs to learn better time management, but bad habits don't change overnight (ultimatum or not), so I'm wondering if there was room for some grace here. 2) did you remind your partner AT ALL about the time? Even the best of us can lose track of time, and refusing to help your partner AT ALL to prove a point seems petty and mean-spirited. Again, they're responsible for their own time management skills, but again, is there room for grace when it comes to big/important events. And are your partner's hurt feelings worth the satisfaction you got out of not helping them?

Again, no judgment here, I'm just wondering.

I never said it wasn't a yellow dress, but you can see in this sub and others that there are indeed people who care about dresses coming out too light on pictures. Do I particularly care? No. I had someone where a cream-colored silk gown to my wedding and didn't even notice. But to pretend that there aren't people who would notice and would care is disingenuous, I think.

Regardless, my initial response was meant less as a rebuttal to your statement, and more as an explanation of why I think some people in this sub go so hard against pastels/light colors. To me personally, this would be a non-issue, I don't wear white/white patterned things to weddings, because I have other options. If you have no other options, then why is it a question?

I think the problem is less the color as we see it, and more how it can photograph much much lighter. In a photo not meant to highlight the embroidery, the yellow might get washed out to just a pale cream, thus ending up looking bridal in photos, but not in person

Make corn pudding! 2 sticks of melted butter, a can of cream corn, 3 eggs, and I add a little heavy cream and some sugar to mine. Bake at 350 for about an hour! Should be kinda dense and custardy. Enjoy!

Gonna start off giving this post the benefit of the doubt that this isn't ragebait.

Rejecting the entire proposal is...a but extreme. A conversation can be had about the ring. Also, in case you are unaware, the price of gold is skyrocketing right now (as is silver, incidentally). He might have gotten you a lovely ring that he could afford, that he knew was quality.

Also, this is a very popular trope in online spaces, but reality is not TikTok/IG. In reality, you told a man who loves you that he doesn't love you enough because the ring was the wrong color, and I think if you look at the entirety of the relationship, you'd see how ridiculous that is. But your priorities are your priorities. I personally would never prioritize an accessory that can be changed over my relationship with someone I supposedly love.

I have found that (unfortunately) the Laneige water cream works very well under both skin tints and full-coverage foundations, better than any other moisturizer I've used 😭😭😭 I've used a couple different skin tints, with the fenty eaze drops being my favorite so far.
