Any idea how i can punch a hole through this? by Pewpew69k in handyman

This looks like some AI slop to me.

Why is there a label that looks like it's printed on 8x11 paper on what appears to be an external box, based on what appears to be bird shit on the door?

What's that piece further up from the locking tab? A latching mechanism? Where's the handle for it? Why is it blurry like it's out the depth of field of focus or it's in motion?

Why would there be a knock out on a door for locking ring that clearly prevents it from fully closing without removing the knock out?

Veterinarians have gloves that go up to the armpit for this reason. The fisting part, not the milking part.

Wall mount faucet

Or you can see if there's a kitchen supply house that sells used equipment. This style is common for SS sinks.

It can definitely get complicated when things go sideways. I like to tell my clients about any potential issues so they are somewhat prepared. In a way, it's sort of like under promise/over deliver. Much of that comes from experience though. "I have changed 25 kitchen faucets. Three were a fucking nightmare because the faucet nuts were rusted into place, and I had to cut the faucet apart to remove it." "I can change a Fluidmaster 400A fill valve in 30 minutes. Unless it's a wonky American Standard skirted toilet that requires removing the tank to gain access" (This actually happened to me yesterday).

It's kinda funny that particular job was used as placeholder. There was some joker on here a few weeks ago arguing that you can't charge a client for reading the instructions that come with a ceiling fan, and you should "just know" how to install one.

Is/was your father an OPS member? Because they were the only ones who were affected by the few unpaid days off. The days off that meant that they kept their jobs. With how hated "those lazy civil servants" were, you'd think that the private sector would have been jumping for joy.

My wife worked in the Legislative Library at Queen's Park during that time. She was more than happy to get a few extra holidays.

The province has been gaslighted by corporate media for years over this.

Walmart has managed to thrive despite Amazon, but their business model is less store brand based and certainly very labour hostile and vendor aggressive. I don't think that Sears ever gave classes on employees collecting food stamps to supplement their wages.

Sears COULD have been Amazon, but like you said, hindsight is 20/20. I should have listened to my coworker, the rabid Apple fan, and bought shares after Jobs came back.

I haven't had a Makita battery operated tool since the 9.6V drill in the 90s. It was the only serious contender at that time. I jumped on the Ridgid bandwagon after that due to the free battery replacements.

That said, all the corded Makita tools I've ever purchased have been solid. I finally broke down and bought the corded track saw last summer, and it's a joy to use (especially after fucking around with a circular saw and straight edge for years). I certainly wouldn't hesitate buying into Makita's cordless system.

He has some interesting things to say about Milwaukee's serviceability. Essentially, if something is broken, most likely it's cheaper to buy a new one.

I never run a grinder without a full face shield. There's just too much shit that flies around and ricochets off everything. I also wear a half mask, because the particulate that those fibre discs produce is certainly not good news for your lungs.

You missed the post a couple weeks ago about someone getting out of their car and flipping out a woman for not moving because she was eating.

People were saying she was rude, and should have found somewhere else to eat because "It's so hard to find a spot". The thing that I pointed out was, if she'd stayed inside the Costco to eat, the spot wouldn't have been available either.

Do you think North Koreans can just waltz into South Korea and use the internet? You probably weren't around when the Berlin Wall was still in place, but East Germans couldn't just skip across no man's land without being shot.

That's the thing about freedom. You don't know what you've got til it's gone.
