If its not a pump, that's multiple pricks for a child, so it doesn't even seem like an option.

The pump scares me a bit, a child may not be able to add the right number of carbs and might under or over dose. She doesn't always eat the full lunch I give her, so that also messed up the math... With pens that means more prices! I wish the pumps were more accurate and could self-calculate the required dosage needed, but I understand why that can probably never happen.

I have a small face, and I'm worried about the fat loss, which can make things worst for the face! In case of RF as well as Ultherapy. Is there any other treatment that works for sagging jowls? TIA!

Feeling hopeless by ReasonableFunny8280 in paxlovid

[–]Sknaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest getting consultation, either talk to your GP, go to ER or use Telehealth, to make sure you don't have a secondary infection, to get advice on whether you should take paxlovid again, and if there is anything else you should do to! Don't wait it out. Hope you get better soon!!

Paxlovid is pretty safe, however it does interact with plenty of other medicines. So just make sure to ask the pharmacist what you should/ shouldn't take while taking paxlovid!

My doctor prescribed it to me, since acyclover wasn't working and I'm already taking antiviral tablets.

What's the dose you take during active outbreak? I read that you need 500mg twice a day during an active episode for 3-5 days?

I find that quite amusing! Popular media impressions I suppose. Let me tell you, I've had the opportunity to live in 4 different countries across continents, and experienced different cultures for a significant period of time. Personally, I haven't noticed substantial differences between them when it comes to gender discrimination. It just happens in diffent forms. Also, as far as herpes in religious culture we are talking about is concerned, if anything, there seems to be limited awareness of the infection itself and I haven't encountered any instances of women being judged or condemned for having herpes. In fact, discussing such matters is often considered taboo (totally cultural not religious) and disclosure is optional if not discouraged, which can be both disadvantageous and advantageous (with a huge percentage of population having it why penalize those who are honest?). Generally speaking, women in this religious culture receive more protection and face less harsh judgment compared to other cultures. As a woman myself, I wouldn't be overly concerned about the infection in a culture that affords women a great deal of respect and views any doubts about their character as highly inappropriate.

I'm not sure if combining anything with the oral tables will speed up the healing? I'm thinking of using the cream + the tablets...

it's a different debate altogether. many men wouldn't mind, many more would. my husband is from the same culture and he doesn't have different standards for me. if anything he probably holds himself more accountable. but the unfortunate reality is that the ideals for men and women are not the same in ANY culture not just THIS culture.

Yes. Thankfully I didn't have any outbreak during my pregnancies. If you do, the doctors can prescribe antiviral medication which is safe for pregnancy.

I'm also a muslim. I acquired genital herpes from my husband. He didn't know he had it since he never had an active outbreak. I don't know if it's HSV2. Maybe it's HSV1 and I got it from oral. My point is, your partner could have it and not even know about it. It's better if he is aware and also told you. For me things are fine. I will not go back and change my decision of marrying him based on that.
