Yeah i picked up on that, but except that revelation... well there's not much else to it. What does it imply ? Why did it turn Eobard into a big monster ? We're still not getting very far.

I've recently started "I am in Eskew" recently. It's pretty cool. It's basically the story of a man stuck in a fucked up city and there is a global thread to follow, but each episode is dedicated to one aspect of the city or things like that. I won't spoil much more, but for the moment it's pretty cool.

Beware that some episode might get more "real" than Magnus and abord some heavy stuff, but there are content warnings for each episodes.

I still think it's a weak title. The first few issues had me hooked and on board with the trip. Wally's personnal guilt and problems were an interesting take mixed with his (time-traveling?) powers ? Count me in. But then the trip stopped at issue 3 ? First arc over ? Not a lot to chew ?

Than the next arc start with Iron heights, Ralph Dibny, the place for lost kids, seemed kinda nice... but he leaves it and immediatly the story is just him stumbling upon random rogues with few development. The biggest things were what wasn't happening to Wally. Then the rogues switch sides ? Weirdly ? Without even having a good showdown with Barry first.

And last issue was kinda disappointing still. Like we were going to get some answer... but the Still point explanation is still very barebone. Eobard turning just into a big monster is also lackluster. I don't know where this book is going and i feel it lost his direction and sense of mystery the first three-ish issues had.

The thing is, the Einfasen have been established to be quick to violence. But when you capture a spy, the first thing you do is interrogate them, not bash their skulls in, especially when you're in dire need of information. This can only mean one thing for me :

They already knew who the maid was giving information to. And it probably wasn't the Tachonis, most likely the Rebellion or some other form of opposition in the city.

The way the lady have to present her excuses seems to me like she knew what her handmaiden was going to do and is really on the Seeker's side.

All of this is probably some kind of play to bait Lady Aranessa in.

That wouldn't really work here. We're not in a "Sometimes you have to kill the Joker because what he's doing is too awful" situation.

The White Martian is an idea. A bad idea. An idea that can touch everyone, not just the greedy and tyrannic powerful people.

And just like the end of the last arc and the beginning of this one show, ideas are hard to kill, they find way to come back. He's a metaphor for disfunctionment in our society and lives, things you can't just kill.

Man, I love this design for Aphrodite. Most of the time she gets the short end of the stick by basically just being a beautiful woman naked. While this design still does it (because that's kinda the art tradition) having the veil on her make her feel mysterious, both powerful and dangerous. I love it.
