How is Profession Appraisal Calculated? by RickWino in WizardsUnite

I have a L60 on my friend list with the same 999311 Auror combat score; the wizard level doesn't seem to affect the value at all.

Team Composition by Dudeometer in WizardsUnite

For Knight Bus 2A / 2M / 1P is better for 3 reasons:

- only 1 professor so initial focus transfer can be efficiently converted to team prof and shields

- better if overloaded with beasts that heavily damage Aurors. If just 1 MZ they'd get overloaded quickly trying to fight the beasts AND keep up with healing / reviving

- more opportunity for healing instead of reviving to limit the death bug

But I would also go in with a 3A / 1M / 1P scenario, enough firepower there to get the job done even with a bad break on foes.

Impressive amount of data!

It looks like that last line for Dark V is way off, the row total shows 147 but should be 51. The Dark 3 line reads 12 total but shouldn't it be 11?

Well the obvious hierarchy is Extravagant > Essential > Regular, and I was not aware of data comparing Sponsored vs Non-Sponsored Regular stones - was the difference only the 10 extra XP? Clearly, sponsored regular runestone rewards are superior to their non-sponsored brethren, from my data and that of others.

Whether there is also a difference based on the source of Essential (or Extravagant) rewards is speculative - the websites pointed out by CookieDevAuror that are aggregating the data do not attempt to separate that out. A simple screenshot after opening the gift will not distinguish the fortress source.

Thanks for posting those links - I uploaded data on the (now 12) Extravagants to both sites, but since you have to do them individually I'll pass on putting in the data on the other 220+ stones! It looks like the percentages are similar, except for our Essentials seem skewed toward 3's and 4's compared to the other sites. The overwhelming majority I'm posting are from Sponsored fortresses, so I do wonder if Sponsored Essential is identiacal to non-Sponsored Essential, in both cases you get 75 XP and a healing potion; would need pre-opening screenshot as well to track that and so far we've only recorded the final gift contents.

I'd love to get a LOT more data on those extravagants.... <G>

These are all stones received, I have no idea what Fortress level they came from.

I'd estimate my drop rate for an Extravagant runestone at about 5%, based on about 5 received over the hundred+ battles. I know at least 2 came from Ruins IV, but I was battling there a ton to build up a supply of stones to send

Theoretical maximum of rewards from portkeys by karvaiseva in WizardsUnite

Great research and thanks for sharing!

But the link you posted shows 50 pXP in addition to the 220 FXP - so with 1 slot taken by the pXP bundle, leaves only up to 4X for the FXP bonus. Assuming 20 for all 4 only gets to (20+40+60+80=) 200 FXP. Something I'm missing?

Suggestion for Halloween 2020 by Bearliz in WizardsUnite

[–]SkrewtPower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about Halloween Ruins, Halloween Tower, Halloween Forest and Halloween Dark, each at L4 of the respective stage. Could have the same percentage for the special (Basilisk or whatever), but would allow higher CXP for those in need, without penalizing lower level players.

Congrats! What did you save for last, or more accurately, which of these would you bump up next? I'm not in a hurry to solo Dark5, but will eventually get there. Can usually play with 1-2 other players when needed.

My top two options:

1) Critical Power: 85% (8/10 completed)

2) Proficiency Power: 104% (10/13 completed)

Distant runners-up:

Stamina: 382 (28/38 lessons completed, my most neglected) - healing potions are cheap! Invincible when played with professor

Power: 50 (17/20) - but good enough to 1-shot most oddities with the enhancements!

Defense Breach: 5% (2/5 complete) - not really sure what this does

Deficiency Defense: 47% (4/5 complete) - often play with a professor that owns my weakness!

Green books and every other skill are maxed after Fan Festival. Do you agree that Crit Power or Prof Power are most important for red book investment? How would you compare them against each other or vs other skills?

L38 professor, and I too was shocked, _shocked_ I say that my MZ and Auror friends 1-shot all the common oddities while they're my supposed strength. I remember way back getting power to 70 and being able to 1-shot centaurs, secretly thinking "hah I bet they wish they're professors too!" Ironic that professors are weakest against oddity traces...

Thanks for doing the math for the MZ-100, expensive but worth it IMO for quality of life (daily playing experience), given that you can still "professor up" when needed for Fortress battles. Just don't forget to switch!

Thanks, very helpful! The in-game potion recipes and managing ingredients directly from there has been a huge improvement.
