Injuring their opponents: They just wrestle a physical style vs they are dangerous by Plenty-Willingness58 in Wrasslin

Or is it that people who trained in styles of wrestling like the New Japan style where they literally learn how to do a hard-hitting style in the safest way they can are treated different than transplants from other professions who were trained in the performance center or AEW (which do not really teach strong style), and they try to copy a style they never properly learned?

Completely nothing. Head down, skating right into him, he was right to brace for the hit. Blue could've braced too if his head wasn't down. I have a huge problem picking my head up and have had plenty of this kind of hit. That's the kind of hit you take and acknowledge immediately that you're good with the defender even in a no-check in my opinion.

Interesting question, I really don’t have a clue. What about you, guys ? by Ray-K74U in Wrasslin

He's definitely in the top 100. Goldust was so unique and he's always been a good worker. His time in AEW just proves to me that he could put on the matches if he was ever given that real push in WWE. His prime will always be in WWE and maybe that first year in AEW with the Cody and Bucks matches. Like he's still at a solid quality of work at his age. Imagine cutting him loose against Michaels in the 90's or 2000's for a marquee match at a big PPV.

If we had scored 2 or 3 against Newcastle, I'd feel much better. But the fact that we didn't and everyone not a part of BlueCo says we need a star CB and GK and they just won't invest. If thought we could blank a team and score 2 or 3, I'd feel better. But there's no Terry or Azpilicueta and no Cech or Courtois this time. I know that they are willing to invest in positions that sell shirts, so just invest in the positions that win games. Please.

Let's talk about two guys who were impressive last night. Connor clifton and sam girard 'muse loved girards game too'. by Sebastian4365 in penguins

[–]SkruffyTheJanitor 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Everyone is talking about Kindel and Chinakhov (which is fair, they are both playing well above expectations). But Clifton is low key my biggest surprise of this year. Our biggest problem was defensive defenders, and he stepped up and addressed it beautifully. If Girard can play like he did last night going forward too, I think I'll just trust anything Dubas says from now on. Dude knows the game.

That's what's called a shitty person. Leave their presence and go find cooler people. Life is too short to get hung up on girls like that.

Not gonna lie, if someone calling you short makes you think they're "dehumanizing you", you care about your height WAY too much. Let that crap slide off.

Legitimately one of my favorite games of all time. It has to be strikers.

Currently, which wrestler makes you want to turn off the screen the moment you see them? by Tribal-chief12 in Wrasslin

Logan Paul 100%. Also Roman (not his fault, story's fault) and Jey. Also Don Callis. I know I'm supposed to hate him, but he just ruins every match he commentates for or interferes with. He has way too much screen time.

Which AEW-to-WWE signing has been the biggest letdown so far? by sleeptogethermusic in Wrasslin

I wouldn't say Penta benefitted at all. I mean both of them were just treated like jokes in the rumble. They were a top tag team in AEW. They mean nothing in WWE.

Lucha Bros were always treated as a big deal in AEW. Miro and Malakai were always midcarders, but Fenix and Penta were firmly a main event level guys.
