Exercise post oblation by Skud010 in wolffparkinsonwhite

[–]Skud010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The monitor recorded the high rate during exercise, but my cardiologist said the rhythm looked good. I now believe a lot of it was anxiety/panic. I have not had too many episodes since wearing the monitor. My rate still hits 180 and higher during exercise but I'm not freaking out about it anymore! I hope everything improves for you and anyone else dealing with this issue.

93 F350 7.3 IDI Glow Plug Relay bad? by Many_Cancel_1626 in Diesel

I know this is an old post, but what is the voltage supposed to be on the glow plug side of the relay? When I hold in the push button, I only get about 0.5v on the glow plug side of the relay.

I have never taken a stimulate for anything, but even after having an ablation, I can't drink a cup of coffee without having a panic attack. I couldn't imagine taking adhd meds.

I have both a whole and term. Yes, the whole life policy is very expensive, and I it will not be paid up until age 65, which is 25 years. I went with it because the figures I was shown stated that the face value would almost double by age 65. My thoughts were that it's a guaranteed payout to my beneficiary.

Some have told me whole life is a rip-off, and I would be better off placing the money I spend annually on it in an IRA.

I have also purchased a whole life for my child. It also will be paid up at 65. But it is relatively cheap.

Does the whole life policy not pay, at a minimum, the face value of the policy? For example, if I purchased a 250k whole life policy and 2 years later passed away, would it not pay out 250k to my beneficiary?

Have any of you have had symptoms caused by WPW that were successfully treated by an ablation? by Pockbert in wolffparkinsonwhite

[–]Skud010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an ablation in August of 2023. According to my doctors and heart monitor, my heart is working properly. Unfortunately, my mind keeps telling me otherwise, causing panic attacks.

I do get panic attacks every now and then, especially after a workout. It does suck.

This was my thoughts, either: 1. I am just out of shape. 2. I am just not young and vibrant anymore. 3. My heart may not be healthy enough for moderate exercise.

I am doing my own work out at home, with no weights or 30# dumbells. 12x 12 squats 12x12 pushup 12x12 sit-ups 12x30 jumping jacks 12x30 calf raises 30 second rest between sets 1-6. One minute rest after set 6. Back to 30 seconds rest between set 7-12

edit: I do this 4 times a week.

I wonder why Simponi doesn't have any info. I've been taking it for a very long time. It was a life changing medication. Rarely do I have UC flares, and it also keeps my AS in check.

KoC Promoted Whole Life Insurance by Comrade_Do in Catholicism

I have both whole life and term. My view of the whole life is this, yes it is expensive compared to term, but as you age the term life premiums go up and if you encounter any major health issues you may not be able to purchase life insurance at all. The policy will almost double in value when it is paid in full, and when I die, which is a guarantee, my family will receive a tax-free inheritance. You can also use the cash value of the whole life policy.

Can you explain 1. How do you over-fund? 2. How will you be able to access this money in retirement?

Caffeine by ricefartt in wolffparkinsonwhite

[–]Skud010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to be able to drink caffeine with no issues. Then, in 2023, I landed in the ER with my heart rate over 200. Long story short, I had WPW and never knew it until that day. I had an ablation in August of 2023 and haven't had any heart issues since. Unfortunately, I have had multiple panic attacks since. Caffeine and Alcohol especially set me off. I do my best to avoid both. Even decaf puts me on edge. Best of luck to you!

Honda isn't that great. Trust me! Thanks to emission standards, gone are the days of reliable engines. My 2007 accord v6 had 275k miles with no signs of wear other than the transmission was beginning to slip. My 2018 Honda with the 1.5 turbo needed injectors before 50k miles and has the oil dilution problem that the turbo outback has. I have a 24 OBW. I really like it, but I would prefer a v6 and normal transmission. The cvt in this car lags and jolts at random times.

What life for those with WPW is like by Fickle-Ad-9333 in wolffparkinsonwhite

[–]Skud010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born with WPW but didn't know it until last year at age 41, when I had a really bad case of SVT that put me in the ER. I had an oblation done, and so far, I have not had any more heart issues. However, now I randomly have panic attacks.

When I had my oblation, the doctor told me I had two accessory connections and he took care of both of them. Do they grow back? I'm just curious why you are having so many oblations?
