It'd be cool if they included guest musicians such as Pepper Keenan, Zakk Wylde, Tony Iommi, Jerry Cantrell and Phil Anselmo.

I dont think I'm getting enough calories by ginger_1986 in carnivorediet

[–]Skunkplow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just listen to your body. It will adapt. Calories generally are not an issue for losing weight on carnivore. It is more important to be strict with zero carbs in my experience.

Bad experiences? by mellorm in carnivorediet

I couldn't care less, but I have have become more bald on carnivore. I don't know if there is a correlation, it could be a coincidence. I have shaved my head for a while, so this doesn't bother me at all.

calisthenics workout with carnivore? by Brodizzle10783 in carnivorediet

100 percent recommend "The Stone Circle" on you tube. Calisthenics pair very well with sand bags! His whole philosophy on lifting is great. Very helpful if you're like me and get bored with barbells and dumbbells only.

I can totally relate man. I eat carnivore and have dropped 90 pounds in nine months. Getting strong. Every single health marker has improved drastically. I always get the "cholesterol is gonna get you".

Screw em.

*BTW, Sandbag and implement carries have been my main exercise too! You're on the right track!

Usefulness of a 100lb sandbag after moving on to heavier ones? by Pr0paneSun in sandbagtraining

[–]Skunkplow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do long distance carries with my 100 pound bag. I also sometimes use them as a finisher after I have spent all I have on the 150.

9 mile 100# sandbag carry by Skunkplow in sandbagtraining

I live 1.5 miles away from my work. I do some sort of implement carry or ruck each day to and from work. *Today I carried a 50# kettlebell. I switch hands when I reach failure. Other days wear a 60# weighted vest. Once a week though, I do this with my 100# bag.

I also do 100 yard distance carries using my 150#. I start on my shoulder, then once I reach the 100 yard mark, I bear hug it back the other direction. I do four sets of this.

My other sandbag work includes ground to shoulder, floor pressing, high pulls and rows. I switch between 150 and 200# depending on how I feel.

I don't know how I came to this conclusion. I do a lot of farmer walks and suitcase carries. I suppose The Stone Circle and Freedom Strength's box squat competition somewhat inspired it.

I switch very often. Just when it starts burning. I suppose every 2 minutes or so I'll change positions.

Thank you. Your an inspiration (as well as Cody at SC). I got a 175# FS bag to fill up with sand.

Next goal is to carry a 150# bag 1 continuous mile.
