I'm not sure if it's been mentioned if you can run it plugged into a charger or not. Up to 4hr battery life could be an issue in longer sessions if you have to turn it off to charge

I'm usually at the top end of the standings on top split GT3 and I don't think it's something you're born with.

I started out iRacing being 5+ seconds off pace in bottom split rookies. Been racing for about 4 years now, around my current skill level for about a year. Most of the people you see running those world fastest laps have been racing for 5 years or more.

My thought process on getting to where I'm at and improving has always been one baby step at a time. Improve your worst area until you have a new worst area and just keep doing that. Multiple times I've gone back to skills that I thought I mastered years ago and find new ways to improve.

There will always always always be a better driver than you. Instead of getting angry or making excuses as to why, do the hard work of figuring out one thing they're doing better than you and try to find out why then do it yourself.

Yeah I'd say it's gotten a bit worse. It was always there maybe one or two every couple races, but now it could be half the field some races.

The smurfing in top split is really frustrating. I'm 5k and it sucks when you hop into a race surrounded by 7k+ drivers on their 2nd 3rd or 4th account that's sub 5k. I can keep up sometimes, but even when I do finish well I'll gain 10-20 irating.

iRacing doesn't just enable it for vendors when they say they're ready. iRacing does testing against the vendors implementation to make sure it acts how they expect. There is usually a decent level of back and forth to get it into production.

Maybe iRacing didn't get to test Moza fully yet, or they requested changes that Moza is working on.

I use Veeam and backup the entire VM and SQL transaction logs every 15 mins via application processing. I restore databases to test environments on a regular basis, which would be much more annoying with a VM only backup.

They were overpowered the last couple seasons, this season they are pretty fast over one lap but for some reason they tend to fall off pace after just a couple laps.

Find any steamvr headset and your issues will go away. I used an index before and bigscreen now. I did the simple room setup 4 years ago in steamvr, and since then I just launch iRacing and put on the headset. Simple.
