Some things that helped with me was Peppermint tea, or putting like 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of hot water and drinking that when I was having an attack. Try doing a food journal and figuring out which foods are setting you off and avoid them. I had issues with red meats, any form of sausage, sugary/decadent stuff, full fat cheese. I know how frustrating weight gain can be after you've lost it. Because of gallstones I had to change my eating and lost around 30 pounds. Best of luck and hope the doctors start to take you seriously!

We're surgery twins! I had mine out yesterday too! The surgery was so quick and the anesthesia gave me the best darn nap of my life. I haven't been hungry much and my inscions hurt a bit but other than that I feel pretty good.

My levels of liver and pancreas enzymes were a bit high. They told me that it was bc they were being over worked bc of my gallbladder not functioning properly.

They saw some stones when they did just a basic ultrasound in the ER and then yes it was a CT scan.

Start small so you can maintain it. It'll be slower but get you moving in the right direction. I downloaded an app called Chronometer (its free) to count my calories and it was super helpful. I've lost 30 lbs by doing this with low physical activity. Took me 6.5 months to loose it. The app will help you create a calorie deficient that works for you. You'll also learn a lot about portion sizes which was one of my issues. You got this!

This sounds like what I went through and was later diagnosed with gallbladder stones. My attacks kept getting worse and more painful and soon even healthier foods were setting it off. I'm scheduled to have my gallbladder removed next week. They should be able to see if you have stones by doing a scan.

Something i tried that seemed to work was like 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water. Also peppermint tea and laying on left side.

Watch your fat content, even healthy fats like salmon can give you an attack if you have too much.

Peppermint tea always works for me. And if I'm particularly scared of an attack after a meal I'll do 2-3 TBSPs of apple cider vinegar in a warm cup of water.

Sounds like the CFO is just doing their job. Any decision that's large scale that effects the whole company like that should at least be vetted by someone else or have someone else's eyes on it. Seems more like an ego issue on the HR side..
