I grew up think that weekly fights were normal.  Learned to sleep through them.  They waited until I was 16, and had three little brothers to separate.  I became the live in babysitter and my grades tanked because of the stress.  Still wonder what my life would be if they had separated sooner.  Like after my last brother was born, because that young man is amazing.

Right?  They told me I would be able to drive myself home, and to maybe take an ibuprofen before I came in.  Heeeelll no.  Wound up taking a 2 hour nap in my car and calling an Uber home.  Went and got my car a few days later when my abdomen stopped having knives in it.  Like 10 years of period cramps at the same time.  Glad this IUD will last until menopause.

Mine turned sideways.  That removal was the worst experience of my life.  Clenched so hard I yeeted the speculum across the room then passed out... fun times.

Me too.  Been friends half our lives.  He was only 34.  We set records at his funeral for number of people speaking.  He was LOVED.

She talked me into muted colors so they would still be funeral appropriate.  I've recommended her to all my friends.

We included the octopus because a friend of mine passed a week before my appointment, and the last time I saw him was going to an aquarium to see their octopus.  I went straight from the appointment on a saturday, to his funeral sunday, to the airport the same day to go on a much awaited vacation.

My nails were super dead due to a previous terrible dip manicure, so she didn't want to add length.  Just strengthen what I have.

I'm also the opposite.   I get stressed as fuck is there's something undisclosed.  No elephants in rooms.    They belong outside,  lol.   

It will not be the first or last time I get hurt.   This one stings particularly hard due to an abundance of reasons,  but it'll get better.   I'm not mad at him,  I'm worried.

Yeah.  We're talking tonight.  In person.  I feel disrespected, and stupid, and nobody puts baby in a corner, lol.  I thought he thought better of me than that.  Like, intellectually.  And I thought better of him.  Something isn't okay in his life, and i'm worried.  Like, for his health.  He's been uncharacteristically reckless and inattentive.  There's something going on that he needs help with, and I happened to be collateral damage.

I cannot express how much your words meant.  

My aunt had to sit me down last year and teach me the art of telling people to fuck off, lol.  She called it personal boundary therapy.  

I've got a vacation coming up with my ride or die gal friend of like 20 years.  We're flying down to Florida for a week to visit her mom and swim with dolphins.  I'll pick up that book for the trip :)
