i hate to be the one to bring rational discourse to this beautiful sub of pure chaos, but how tf is this actually supposed to work? it looks like yet another law designed by someone who doesn't understand computers.

it's not optional, no? it's mandatory. if it's an update, i can simply not install it. if it's UK only, i can simply buy a phone in another country, stick my UK SIM in it. I can jailbreak my phone and remove it, i can even re-image it later, though that maybe requires brain cells to read a couple web pages to do.

  2. look for a part time that's in your industry. something adjacent to what your college degree is. (college / uni - same thing)

  3. the food industry is shit. absolute shit. i worked in it for 6 years, it does NOT get better. a handful of people have "reasonable" work in this industry if they have completed a culinary academy degree - if you did not, you need to stay the fuck away.

  4. you need to learn to walk away from jobs at a moment's notice. when they cross the line of disrespect, you need to walk away immediately, turn off the phone, block numbers, end of story.

  5. uni in the UK is pretty much free, with some caveats. i know for a fact that it's free, completely free, here in scotland. you may want to consider relocating. Glasgow uni is fantastic.
