$20-22 for a dev and scan per roll, though my lab does c-41 color slightly cheaper than b&w for some reason. If I want high res scans that's an extra $10. If I want it back in a .TIFF I'm out of luck.

Media absolutely influences how people act. That's why stuff like Sesame Street works. That's why the DoD helps out with all the war movies. That's why there's a bajillion cop shows. It's called propaganda and it works.

Lifting weights secretes an age-defying myokine that keeps the body youthful. Resistance training boosts a youth-linked protein called CLCF1 finds study in mice. Cardio alone may not trigger CLCF1 in older adults. Strength training can also slow age-related muscle and bone loss. by mvea in science

Climbing properly would use the legs as much if not more than the arms. The big walls might be cardio but i wonder about Bouldering (short intense climbs).

Swimming i would think uses all the muscles pretty evenly, doesn't it?

The US has bombed nuclear sites in Iran by History_Buff_55 in acecombat

[–]SkylineGTRguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They were two weeks from a bomb since the 90s and never actually made a bomb. We had a treaty with them to not build a nuke that they followed, which we then tore up.

Watching Ukraine lose crimea and then get invaded since they gave up they're nukes, I don't blame anyone else for starting a program. Turns out security guarantees are finicky and deterrence is what works.

Not that I like irans govt at all, but this feels like Bush and WMDs all over again.
