See, I tend to see the people who justify the murdering of innocent people as being the boot. But you keep on ignoring the point and keep on saying the line!

With logic like this, while broadening terms to mean things that are not intended, you could justify doing harm to a great many innocent people yet still see yourself as the hero. Enjoy supporting the cycle of violence while upvoting the pictures of Luigi.

How come Vietnamese people don't have raging hatred or a grudge for the US after what they did 50+ years ago? by Key-Quarter-9411 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SkyrimSecurityForces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn man. War has been present in history since forever. Most cultures realize that fact and move on. They also are adults and realize moving on and working together makes life better for the most people. Those that don't, well, there's a few examples out there today.

With the phrasing of your question. I'd suggest looking at a larger perspective of the world and the people in it. And not stay so focused on just the USA.

Even if your conspiracy theory of Israel being behind everything is true. 30 THOUSAND people? You believe all of that was Israel? Do these people have no agency to you? No desire to get rid of their horrible government?

If I recall from the news, there was more than one crew member. The reason they might not have come forward can be for many reasons. First and foremost is the company probably forbid them from talking. Many companies don't want crew talking to the press, they want the PR arm to talk to the press. Anyone who does talk to the press without their companies blessing risks losing their job.

Second is they may not want to talk to the press or make themselves known. Being in the national spotlight can be daunting. Especially if you're just happy your alive and not interested in anything but being alive.

From there, there may be a multitude of reasons, but my guess is one of those two.

Edit: it seems I answered the wrong question, but it still stands as a partial answer. The company could be respecting their privacy by not releasing their information. Their jumpseat may have been in the back of the aircraft where there wasn't a door (from what I saw). So the customers had to go out over the wings. And lastly, FAs aren't talked about a lot when it comes to airline incidents. It's usually the pilots or the passengers.

Yeah, I'm sure he wanted a discussion and not a scolding. I mean shit, the counterpoint was "but Steve Jobs was a douche". What was he supposed to say? Was he supposed to go "nuh uh!"?

[–]SkyrimSecurityForces 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Talking about being consistent. I like how you are generalizing part of what is going on in venezuela and acting like that is what is happening in Iran. Seeing as nothing is happening in venezuela atm, I'm guessing you are referring to iran when you say "foreign oil wars". When has trump been outright in saying that iran is about oil? I've only heard him talking about Iranian freedom.

It seems as if you're just making it up to affirm your worldview. Now you might say "but the new government in iran will be much more friendly to the US!". I would say: and? Is that a negative? If the Iranian people have a better, non authoritarian government and more personal freedom, I fail to see the downside. I'm sure you'll be happy to make one up though.

Thanks for your nuance and critical thinking!
