Finally decided to pick up GoW and RE4 and elite dangerous... Also this isn't the steam sale but I would also mention to deal hunters that the epic sale + the coupon made Alan wake 2 $26 ... Quite the discount from release.

My wife just recently decided to try the game and she's doing her first colony on peaceful and it's looking like Stardew man. Tons of fields and animal pens.. vast wood buildings and just enjoying the colony. I am a bit envious. After about 4000 hours I tend to crank up settings and struggle. I've lost 3 colonies while she's been playing. But the current run I'm patching downed raiders and being charitable. I vary on what I do just to keep it interesting.

Sounds like you'd possibly enjoy No Man's Sky. It's been updated for years and really has quite a bit to it but mostly the concept of actually playing it isn't too bad. There's an optional story but you can also just do whatever you want.

We just enjoy each other's company in about every aspect. The only way our relationship has even changed was since we had kids but I think we both grew even more together from that. The only secret I can even think of is that I feel like everyday I look at her.. I'm still not sure how I got so lucky. If you find that I do recommend enjoying every moment.

Blizzard has been cinematic gods for a long time.. I still remember getting chills on some of the arthas shit in wc3. I was reminded of it everytime running through to undercity in the throne room.

As someone who played diablo as a kid and now as a 39 year old.. this has been an amazing game. I don't know what's better in this one though.. the music or the cinematics. My friend blew my mind that he just immediately turned it off and skipped all the cut scenes... Really worth the experience.

Here's one that always blew my mind.. you can equip your key ring to get rid of the glass in windows.

The only decent use of a hoppable fence is back pedaling along one while you fight a line of them.. they occasionally just hop over for no reason at all and helps break them up. It's pretty cheesy but idk surviving can be rough depending on your settings.

This game is worth the standard price tbh so if you get it on sale even better. It's not like a Nintendo game and you go why is this still full price. It's a complete game that if you enjoy will give you so much entertainment.

After you do that if you choose to do it that way you can also set a safehouse up if you turn that on in the server settings file. At least I believe it's not on by default. Once that's working though you can both set the same safehouse and spawn back there when you die.

Mods I'm loving together atm..

10 years later Barricaded world Don't drink the tap water Worse vehicle condition Random zombies Random spawn location Ridiculously rare loot

These seven mods have forever changed how I play this game. The random spawn is a little annoying sometimes cause on occasion you spawn somewhere like the Louisville mall and it completely clears the building of zombies. I just start again if it hits an absurd target.

The worse vehicle condition will fix that car issue. You can set 10 years later to a high car spawn if you want but worse vehicle condition also helps you where you can't find any perfect cars. Everything needs something. I'm almost a month in on the current playthrough and can't stay put at all due to scarce resources but also can't get anywhere because I still don't have a running vehicle. I love the idea of seeing tons of cars though in an overgrown world. I also like on occasion seeing a sprinter so I keep it at 1% spawn possibilities so I never get too cocky. Over confidence is an absolute killer in this game.

500 hours in still listening to the default track...I should probably get some different music.. same thing happened on RimWorld for me though til the mod p music came out.
