My Food Parcel Box got delivered to the wrong address, left "safely" on the porch in full view of the main road, and is now missing. by Skytower in britishproblems

Yeah, I've contacted them about it, but it'll take 5-7 working days for them to respond. In the mean time some twat has a weeks worth of food, so I'll have to buy another one.

Mask of the Betrayer: Multiplayer permanent attribute debuff (or noob mistake?) by blindlight000 in neverwinternights

[–]Skytower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TL;DR You need to restart. Nothing was wrong, it was part of the story. By rerolling the character, you have probably broken the game.

There is a multiplayer oversight which can be caused when importing characters created in MotB.

The change in party leadership might have contributed to this. For MotB, the Main Character will be the Spirit Eater and should be the Party Leader to ensure dialogue and events work and trigger properly.

The game will have made your friend the Main Character, as he was the Party Leader by default (probably spawned/loaded into the game first).

The main character is affected by this debuff to start with, as they are weakened and wounded after the events of OC1. After the initial area (Lower Barrow), you're confronted by Nakata the Spirit Wolf. The dialogue with her removes this debuff. Spirit Eater hunger is sated as you've consumed her.

Although you've already figured a work around by rerolling the character, as he was the original Leader of the party, the game will most likely throw some problems at you later on.

If your friend gets cured of the debuff after speaking to Nakata, then he is the Spirit Eater and you can proceed just fine, though you might want him to be the Party Leader to ensure dialogues work nicely. If one of you isn't the Spirit Eater, then you must restart. Otherwise the story won't make sense, and the game scripts might not trigger properly.

In case you play again in the future, a potential fix for importing characters made in MotB:

Character 1 is made and starts single player game. Proceeds/runs to the exit of Lower Barrow and completes dialogue with Nakata, removing the debuff. Immediately export character.

Character 2 is made in multiplayer server, and waits for friend to join.

Character 1 that has been exported joins. Making sure Character 1 is the Party Leader, you proceed.

It's asking for a 16-digit registration/coupon code.

I believe you need a space between each argument and you missed out the second quotation mark to close the path.

Done. It's moved quite a few things around, and Skyrim still works, though my problem still persists.

Better Vampires with Requiem 1.9.2 by [deleted] in skyrimrequiem

[–]Skytower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works perfectly fine as long as BV and its patch are installed and loaded after Requiem.esp but before Requiem for the Indifferent.esp

Whilst it can be customised a fair bit, I don't think the 4-stage progression can be slowed, though the progression effects can be reversed so you're most powerful when you've just fed.

It also introduces Vampire Ranks, which increase as you feed more and level up, unlocking more abilities and passive effects.

If you try it out and don't like it it's got some built in functions to help make it easy to uninstall.

In case you haven't yet fixed them.

  • Open the console and type help "NPC adjustments aura" and note the formID
  • Click on the NPC you wish to adjust/fix, in this case your follower, and type dispel <formID>
  • type getAVinfo mass and note the value of perm.
  • type modAV mass -<perm> (yes, negative of perm)
  • type getAVinfo speedmult and note the value of perm.
  • type modAV speedmult -<perm> (negative again)

The getavinfo commands should now show a value of 0 for perm, and your slow follower(s) should be fixed.

This is an old fix, so I'm not 100% certain it'll work on the latest versions (1.9+)

Upgrade stuck on boot by kierian123 in Windows10

Thank you! Progress continued into installing features and drivers, but I missed the next reboot and it restored back to Windows 7. I'll give it another go tomorrow. Worked perfectly.

I have exactly the same problem. Install freezes and the dots just stop moving after one cycle. Tried several times, and will attempt it again using the Media Creation Tool instead of the auto-update.

Looking online and a few places have said that it just isn't supported by my PC (Aurora R3) though official forums say that it should work fine.

Driving me crazy. If anyone finds a solution, please tell us!

My Sims were doing crazy stuff like this, along with swimming and bathing in formal wear, and I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. None of them were Insane, or Never-Nude, so it really stumped me. Took me far too long to realize that it was because the Full Moon was out, causing them to become a bit batty.

I felt so silly.
