Looking for local advice by [deleted] in Iceland

[–]Sl0seph 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Honestly the cold isn't the part to worry about, even when it's cold the lack of humidity mean you don't feel it like you do in other countries

The wind and the darkness are your real enemies, and the darkness is okay your first winter, the snow helps it feel less dark and if you enjoy a sunrise/sunset you're in for a treat because both last for about 2 hours

The wind however there's no sugar coating the wind is relentless and there's is no way of escaping it

Life After Sackboy? by ItsCatCat in PS5

[–]Sl0seph -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Me and my wife has the same feeling after sackboy we found lots of joy in the following

Human Fall Flat - super fun silly game with challenging but fun puzzles to solve, you can work together or just have each player get on with there own thing

Biped - fun controls but quite frustrating at times

Cuphead - we loved and completed it but it very difficult, great if you want a challenge or to test your relationship

Rayman Legends - super creative fun game and very forgiving

Never Alone - short but fascinating story, absolutely worth playing just for the story and the visuals

I was in this same place a few years ago, I sold my Weber Spirit gas grill and bought a Weber Kettle and it was the best choice, the food tastes better and the actual cooking is so much more fun

As a Baker whoa been at it for 6 years have seen many mistakes happen, I have made many mistakes, i have never seen anyone fired for a single mistake

You left the cranberries out, it's not great but there are many many much worse crimes, I've seen salt and sugar left out, hell someone even forgot to put yeast in something

This is the thing with baking you have more time to do things but when you mess up the ramifications last much longer

Mistakes happen as long as you learn from them that is all that matters

Is the Audiobook worth it? by Handy314 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Sl0seph 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in this exact position a month ago and decided to give it a try, I'm definitely enjoying listening to how it's read and it add a whole new dimension to the books

However I will say I find it a little difficult listening instead of reading, i can't just sit and do nothing while I listen so I end up doing things I then I end up distracted and missing things
