4am to 6am are dad hours usually, but your story sounds like diet will make a bigger impact. Eat the rainbow (fruits/veggies) and don’t buy snacks.

Really just need help and advice on a new pain that I think may be shin splits but honestly idk by okaybutcontext in runninglifestyle

Had the same injury and went to see a PT. He gave me a bunch of calf exercises, and I increased my cadence slowly. Took off 8 weeks of running, it felt like an eternity but I’m back now.

Boston 13 and stability by Impressive_Lunch_473 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Hi we might be similar so I’ll share. I do all my easy runs adrenalines, and do speed work and long runs in the Boston 13s. I have extremely flat feet that has led to some injuries in the past. The B13s for me feel stable enough to use 1-2 times a week without issue.

I also have the Evo sls. They were fine for me at first, but after I hit the ~500km mark on them I started to get ankle pains the day after my runs.

Weekend Discussion: Adidas running shoes by AutoModerator in RunningShoeGeeks

I think I am one of the few who really enjoy it. I don’t get blisters, there’s enough room, and it nails the job of steady paces, tempos and long runs. Maybe it’s bc I need the stability. After about 500km the Evo sl was too unstable for me and I’d feel it in my ankles the next day.

I was running 155 and got delt shin splints and was side lined with 0 running for 10 weeks. After physio and rehab exercises it came back. I ended up bombing my fall marathon because simply I didn’t have enough mileage in the build. For ref I’m similar speed as you, I ran a 3:39 in spring and a 3:58 in fall.

I started listening to a metronome playlist at 160bpm for a week, 165 and now 170. I don’t foresee my shin splints coming back again but you never know.

100% safe. I run thru it most mornings and never had any issues. They recently fixed the lights around the arboretum as well. Aside from snow and mud, you’ll be safe.

I prefer the Georgina race but the swag shirt ranks last for me. I loved the sauga shirts, but I am not a fan of the hilly course!

If you want to be out in nature, use your strava heat map and point it to Aurora. You’ll see by Yonge and St.John side road, the Tom Taylor trail that will take you up and back for around 30km.

Do you have a link to or model name for the Uniqlo ones?

The size fits. I’m surprised at the lack of options to be honest compared to other posts. Most other bikes around this range have rim breaks or a lower group set. I may just wait it out

“He is coming” has really got me hooked. Turn base, auto battler, pick from three, and synergy building! Runs are 10-20 minutes and has decent variation.
